I am not a local but we do come to town a lot on business. I definitely have to give credit to Google and the ppl who reviewed this place as well! Thank u for sharing this spot I felt like it was a secret. I was craving a tamal so we had to try them..and I'm so glad we did! They were so soft and flavorful..one of the best I've had in awhile! We will def be coming back next time we are in town.The whole menu looks amazing...I can't wait to try more! ( Also as a plus there is a man out front of the business who makes fresh squeezed orange juice ?)

Terrible how they get this rating they must have all there friends on here Dry tasteless. And the restaurant is a dump. Dirty tables we had to clean off ourself. Waste of time and money

First off let me say I am not a tamale expert and never get over enthused by them. I don't go out of my way to order them but will eat some if I am with friends or they are available and feel like eating one. My review is only on the tamales themselves . Was told by a coworker about this place so we purchase them and I actually love them! They happen to be some of the best tamales I've had and unsure why the other reviews say they take so bad. We got takeout so I can't comment on any attitude but I did not see any when I was there.whoever waited on me was very polite. Unsure if he was the owner or someone who just worked there. We live very close by and ended up going back and find two more dozen . again.... I am never overly enthused by tamales, but these are very good. At least in my opinion.

If I could I would give them 0 stars, this tamales taste disgusting, they taste expired and bad. The service is awful and the owner isn't really polite. I wouldn't recommend them.Si pudiera les daría 0 estrellas, estos tamales saben horribles, saben caducados y malos. El servicio es pésimo y los dueños son mal educados y groseros. No recomendó visitar este lugar.

Tamales echados a perder y horrible servicio de atención al cliente. Los tamales que me tocaron no estaban frescos y tenían un sabor caducado. Al hablar con la dueña Andrea, ella fue muy grosera y ni siquiera le importaba que los tamales que estaba vendiendo estuvieran hechos de masa que sabía agria.Me da mucho lástima que no pudiera asumir la responsabilidad y que traté a la gente así.

Notably excellent. Loved the red pork tamale, made with from-scratch nixtamalized corn and ground chiles. Good moisture/lard content. Pairs great with the green salsa. Yummy!

I came for tamales but it was the menudo that left me most impressed. Excellent flavor and on top of that it had a serving of pork feet that provided the gelatinous texture that I craved in soups for so long. The complementary chips were of the thick, freshly fried variety which was my favorite as well.
