First off let me say I am not a tamale expert and never get over enthused by them. I don't go out of my way to order them but will eat some if I am with friends or they are available and feel like eating one. My review is only on the tamales themselves . I came for tamales but it was the menudo that left me most impressed. Excellent flavor and on top of that it had a serving of pork feet that provided the gelatinous texture that I craved in soups for so long. The complementary chips were of the thick, freshly fried variety which was my favorite as well.

I am not a local but we do come to town a lot on business. I definitely have to give credit to Google and the ppl who reviewed this place as well!
