Wow!!! The first thing you notice is how beautiful the high ceilings are and how lovely everything is decorated. It doesn’t feel stuffy, just very nice. It’s a lowkey elegant place to go even if you’re not a guest at the hotel. The second thing you notice is how incredibly happy the staff seem to be to work there. Everybody is so friendly and inviting. We decided to come here for our anniversary. Claire remembered us from being at the bar in the morning! She greeted us with a warm smile and was beyond helpful in making sure we got the best table in the restaurant - and also making sure the waiter comped our dessert. Then Mario, our server extended the generosity and offered us two free drinks without a second thought. He was so attentive and helpful all night. Every person who stopped by our table made us feel special and welcome - whether they knew it was our anniversary or not. Lastly, THE FOOD. Oh. My. Goodness. Even what may seem like a common or simple dish was out of this world. We had the bone marrow to start. It came with delicious bread and we were smiling from ear to ear from the flavors. Then we had tagliatelle bolognese and eggplant parmigiana. The bolognese was made with fresh house-made pasta which seemed like it melted in our mouths. I don’t know what kind of olive oil they used, or how they made the eggplant texture so perfect, but the eggplant parm was our favorite dish. We almost licked the plates clean! The tiramisu came last and it was the absolute best I’ve ever had. The coffee flavor was amazing. I was so stuffed by then, but we still ate every last crumb. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience - I’m sure we will be back!
I don’t want to write a whole separate review for their breakfast/brunch, but we did have the lobster eggs Benedict (sooooooo good - PACKED with fresh, perfectly-cooked lobster) and the Greek yogurt and fruit. The yogurt was decadent and whipped and the fruit was fresh and sweet. Francisco behind the bar was so kind - and also comped our brunch drinks when he found out we were celebrating!! 💕

Food was a acceptable. Focaccia was dry and not flavorful. Salad was ok some leaves were oxidized. dressing on the tangier side. Fingerling potatoes were ok. Some crunchy others not fully cooked. Burger standard taste. The mushroom squash gnocchi was however excellent. That would be one to recommend.

The atmosphere was the highlight, truly a stunning vibe!
The food was good, but not exceptional (our tuna crudo was way over-salted). Entrees were on par with expectations.
The service completely missed the mark though. Our server was kind, but dropped the ball when it came to clearing, resetting, resolving our crudo issue and presenting the bill (we were given the wrong table’s bill and almost paid it accidentally bc they drop off the payment device on the table that just shows an amount). Would expect the service to be far more polished for a place like this at the price point.

As I will be staying at the hotel in December I wanted to go trial the restaurant. After valeting my vehicle, I checked in with my reservation and was told it would be a 10 minute wait which was the first sign something was wrong. The check-in host was also cleaning and setting the tables. When we finally sat we had a friendly server but unfortunately that’s where it all went downhill. Apparently the kitchen staff was mixing up tickets for in room dining and the restaurant and the food took a very very long time to come out. My latte was not good, but I drank it. My poor server gave us comp juice, comp coffee refills, bread with jam and butter, to tide us over. Unfortunately our dishes were not fully clean and had food on them. The whole restaurant was understaffed and I felt so bad. When our food finally arrived, it was awful. No better than iHop quality for double the price. I barely ate any of it - the French toast was not crispy and lacked flavor. Our duck egg has barely had duck and the hash nuggets looked like they were from frozen - not even fresh cooked potatoes. I absolutely would never eat here again. Overall it gave me a poor impression of the hotel as there were other issues aside from the restaurant (10+ minute valet wait - also understaffed), and more.

I’ve visited Nettuno several times for dinner and have always enjoyed the ambience, especially with the new Breakers Fairmont Hotel being such a standout addition to Long Beach. So, when my family and I decided to celebrate my niece’s 50th birthday, we thought a Sunday brunch at Nettuno would be a perfect choice.
However, the experience was extremely disappointing due to the restaurant’s reservation system (or lack thereof). I initially tried to book an online reservation for our party of twelve, but because the group size was too large, I was directed to call the restaurant directly. This is where the issues began.
My cousin called twice and left a voicemail, and I also left several voicemails with no response. On my third attempt, I finally spoke with a young lady who assured me she would reach out to Ms Washington, the sales manager, to help us with the booking. She told me that Ms Washington was at her desk and would be in touch soon. Unfortunately, I never received a return call—no follow-up, no update, not even a courtesy call to let me know that our party couldn’t be accommodated.
To make matters worse, today my cousin called again, only to be told the same thing: the only person who could help with reservations for larger parties was Ms Washington. The restaurant is understaffed in handling larger bookings. The hotel should consider hiring additional help to manage the volume of reservation inquiries, especially for parties of six or more.
After six failed attempts, we finally gave up and made a reservation at another local restaurant. It is not very pleasant because I was really looking forward to sharing this new gem in the city with my family. Instead, my efforts were met with nothing but frustration.
Nettuno, I hope you take this feedback seriously and make some changes to improve your reservation process. Unfortunately, what should have been a special occasion turned into a complete waste of effort.

I have no idea why this place is not talked about more. This food is fresh, delicious, light and authentically the way Italian food should be made. The carbonara is exactly the way it’s made authentically in Italy. The pasta is fresh, the dough of the flat bread is fresh and the branzino melts in your mouth with the perfect crisp skin. I am beyond impressed with this place and should be a staple in Long Beach dining!

I wanted to love this pasta but it had no taste. I tried to use salt and cheese but couldn’t salvage it and gave up after 5 bites. Major disappointment

What a great job has Chef Giuseppe done over at the Italian Ristorante Nettuno located inside the Fairmont Breakers Hotel in Long Beach CA. We had the pasta , fish, Spaghetti Nero Di Seppia Al Frutti Di Mare & it was all so delicious. We highly recommend coming in and tasting some of Italy's best dishes. We also experienced a pasta & wine pairing which was such a treat on one of our visits. Make sure to ask if it is available on your visit. Let Giuseppe know that Ricardo the Realtor sent you in. He is such a great guy and better Chef. The staff is fantastic. See you there. Ciao!

It's my Birthday week, and my good friend took me here yesterday for my Brunch. You know how I love music, this place had a fantastic station on.
We had the deviled eggs to begin with and a Mimosa to begin..., then followed it up with my traditional order of Eggs Benedict with bacon, it was tasty and served on focaccia - special shout out for the Breakfast potatoes!! TASTE-T! My friend had the California Scramble, and we are both foodies and loved every morsel of our dishes.
Chris was our server, and he was a breath of fresh air and handled that entire area like an attentive PRO, never missed a beat. The $10.00 Valet (for four hours) was enough for us to gush over, too LOL
Do yourself a favor and have a Lemon Drop Martini, you will thank me later (wink, wink).

The best breakfast spot in Long Beach! The pancakes with ricotta and lemon are an absolute must-try — light, fluffy, and full of flavor. Cozy atmosphere and great service too. Highly recommend!
