We went to Nick's on 2nd for dinner to celebrate two birthdays. Everything was outstanding! Our servers, Jessica C. (and a male server - I don't recall his name), were friendly, attentive, courteous, and efficient. Everyone loved their meals. We received two complimentary chocolate birthday cakes, plus birthday cards, which was a nice touch.

Never disappoints, asparagus fries, halibut, fried chicken, chicken piccata were all fantastic, we visit 1xmonth. Service was also great, with a reasonable 15.00 corkage fee.

Nick is my nephew and I always enjoy dining at all his locations. This was the first time that I have dined at his Long Beach location, but I have been to all the others, except Pasadena. I took a friend to this location while she was in town for work and stayed at the Hyatt nearby. She loved her salad and happily ate every single bite, along with the deviled eggs we ordered as the appetizer. We each ordered cocktails as well which never disappoint. Our server was attentive and very sweet. Overall, an excellent experience.

Hi, I took the family for my daughter's 20th bday. It was magnificent! All was fabulous! Garrett was super sweet & attentive to detail. We all were so impressed with our dishes. Beautiful & delicious. Thank you! My daughter was gifted a precious chocolate cake and we got to sing to her AND she was presented with a bday card signed by the staff! Like 20 signatures! Whoa! That was over the top! Thanks again!! You guys are The Best!

Nick's never disappoints. Food and service were great, and the price was actually quite reasonable. It has been a week of celebrations, so I had other experiences to compare it to. 5 days prior a friend and I had a half price happy hour cocktail, 2 appetizers and a dessert at a different restaurant. and the bill was $130!! 3 days prior I had dinner for 3 at yet another restaurant, 3 cocktails, 3 entrees, 1 salad (we shared) and 1 dessert... the bill was $300! Imagine my delight when I received the bill at Nick's for my family of 4 adults for only $160. It was my birthday so we shared the free dessert, and they gave me a birthday card. Parking is a little tricky in Belmont Shore, but we got lucky so the evening was a total success.

My best friend for over 40 yrs & her husband took me out to Nick's on 2nd while I visited from out of state. Nick's has an excellent atmosphere with deliciously addictive foods & drinks. A definite place to treat your palate. Plus; Always order the Butter Cake! It was so delightful that a week later I took my dad here to eat on Father's Day; and he loved it. Our server Laura was fantastic, wonderful & she helped my dad choose a glass of wine. He enjoyed the wine so much that now he wants me to buy him a bottle as an additional Father's Day present :-) I highly recommend Nick's on 2nd for a place to dine at.

Nick's is a lively spot. We sat outside which was great because inside was very noisy. The food was mostly good, although the hamburger was over cooked.

We had an inside table. There is a bar with a TV and music plays. The acoustics are terrible in the dining room. I could barely hear my friend speak. Food is top notch and I really enjoyed the chicken katsu salad. The lemon cake was good but it lacked the signature lemon flavor. Service was top notch!
