Excellent as always and Ben, our server made it an especially nice evening celebrating our 15 year old grandson's birthday! Grandson had the Cioppino which he loved. And wonderful desserts. Nicks never disappoints!!
Nick's on second is a solid restaurant. It has a great balance of good food, great ambience, and good service. I definitely will eat there again.
We always come back for the sea bass which was excellent, as always. My husband had the halibut which was so moist and delicious. Side dishes were good and we were happy with our wine choices. Very personable and capable server. We ate on the patio which was quiet and really lovely.
We shared the bacon deviled eggs (to die for) and the ribeye melt. This sandwich was decadent! We also had the ginger berry mule with Tito's added... great drink choice. Service was impeccable and atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon was just right.
Perfect dining experience led by our server, Steven and his support team. We truly appreciate YOU👍
Had a wonderful weekend lunch on the patio at Nicks. Fun people watching, the food was tasty and the service was good. Prices are medium to high, as there is not a luncheon menu.
The service was amazing. They helped suggest really amazing food. I had zero complaints. The food was also amazing. I will def be coming back
Another Fabulous meal at Nick's. Service was great. Food Excellent. Thai Peanut Salad!!!! My favorite. Suggest outside for more casual feel of Long Beach scene.
Good food, good service, good ambiance... also large portions!

Our server, Jonathan, was excellent. We went for our anniversary and were treated so well. The food was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
My first ever review on google and I hate that it had to be negative! The restaurant’s food is 10/10 hands down, but I’d never go back to a place that literally throws you out after you’ve been there for a few hours (had a reunion with a friend we hadn’t seen in 10 years so we chatted for awhile but were still paying for food & drinks the entire time we were there). Garrett, who was our second server for 30mins, told us we needed to leave. He didn’t want to serve us anymore which was odd due to the fact that we only ordered 1 drink with him after our other server was done for the day. He then went on to say we could go to other places down the street where we can get served. Very disappointing as I’ve never ever experienced anything like this in my life. I’m not sure if this a race thing (which I hate bringing that up), but it didn’t make sense as this place get lively later in the day. We spoke to the manager and hope this was handled correctly - it should never be okay speaking to a customer let alone another human like this!

Always consistent and delicious. Service is great and prices comparable to other nice places
I've been to Nick's in Pasadena before and had a great experience. However, Nick's on 2nd was something else. I came here for a work related lunch with one of my favorite clients and had the best experience with our server, Jonathan.
I ordered the Center Cut Filet with mashed potatoes and it was so tasty! It was done right. I also ordered an espresso martini which was great along with some spicy margs. We ended the lunch with dessert which was also good!
I would come back here in a heartbeat because of the service we received with Jonathan. He was attentive, knowledgeable of all the entrees and drinks (my client and I were so indecisive on what to get and Jonathan broke it down and gave us recommendations) and was super patient about it!
Anytime you come here to celebrate something, they gift you a congratulatory card signed by the staff. It's a simple gesture yet so thoughtful and makes the entire experience even better. My client told Jonathan I just moved into a new place and the card was to wish me a happy housewarming. How cute is that? Lol.
I parked in a public parking spot about a block away. You can also park on the street if you find a space.
