It is worth it to come here for the HH (4-7 p.m. Monday to Thursday) and enjoy the beautiful sunset view. If you are visiting (not an overnight guest), there is an additional admission fee to enter the cruise (discounted to $15 at 6 p.m.). The cocktails were exactly what you’d expect at a touristy bar - so I wouldn’t come here for any culinary innovation. But the cruise is worth checking out if you are a fan of the art deco designs.
Category: Cocktail Lounge. After a wonderful tour of the Queen Mary, both guided and self-guided, we retired to this classy Art Deco bar to pretend like we were among the 800+ First Class passengers who made it their tippling home while crossing the Atlantic during the ship’s glory days. Visiting the Queen Mary was a pleasant experience. I can understanding appreciate that the entry fee of $40 per person and the higher prices on drinks help support the maintenance of this beautiful historic ship. While the cocktails were a bit on the sugary side and not particularly impressive, my husband and I enjoyed the opportunity to explore the ship at our own pace on a self-guided tour before visiting the Observation Bar.
