This is my son’s favorite sushi place! We always get treated like old friends here. I love the yellowtail, he loves the salmon, we both love the edamame!

food and service were great! bury me in yellowtail sashimi please, and do try their curry puff. it's a delightfully sweet mild curry in a fried, crispy, chewy pastry. it's a week later now and I'm still thinking "hmm, I could go for another of those"atmosphere was awful, the pace was busy but you couldn't hear anything besides one group yelling and swearing and laughing at each other. they seemed to settle down but then they started face-timing other people on loudspeaker to continue yelling and swearing and laughing. another table complained (sat closer to the noisy group than us, poor devils) not even a gentle "hey you're disturbing the other guests" from the manager. wanted to stay a while and try the crab but we paid up and left instead.

Hadn’t been here in years. Have no idea why I’ve deprived myself of such great food!! Can’t beat the sunrise roll. Albacore sashimi was fresh and buttery. Staff was friendly and quick to seat and serve us. Love the art on the wall. Even background music was enjoyable. Great place for date night. Def adding back to our date night list!

My first time here, I was a little skeptical about quality, but the sashimi I ordered was delicious. Kudos to the chef for pairing some fish with yuzu and searing other fish. Happy hour from 12-6pm makes it worthwhile.

We were looking for a place to celebrate my daughter's CSULB play and she was in the mood for sushi so off to Yelp I went and OHO came up with 4 stars and close to her apartment. I almost missed the entrance when we got there and was surprised to be pulling into an interesting looking motel parking lot and what looked like more of a motel diner. But don't be fooled by the appearance. OHO has a great funky atmosphere with super friendly staff and delicious food. Huge variety of the freshest fish and so many other choices of great teriyaki combinations. This is definitely a place we will be returning to.

I hadn't been to this place in about a year and a half. But my lady and I went there before going to a play at the Long Beach playhouse. We figured we had an hour to eat and should work out perfectly.The service was fantastic. We let our server know that we are going to a play and he accommodated our order in a timely manner.We ordered a six-piece sushi roll with salmon. She had a teriyaki salmon bowl and I had chicken teriyaki.The bowls were good and tasty, however, the sushi was very disappointing. The salmon in the sushi was mushy and not fresh.For sushi, we will go elsewhere in the future, as Long Beach has many good sushi places!

I was a bit concerned when I pulled into the sketchy motel parking lot that had people shouting from the windows. The inside was not the cleanest, but the staff was friendly. The service was a bit slow to take our order, but the food came out quickly after ordering. Would recommend looking at the menu before coming and order right away.

Yum is the first word that comes to mind when thinking about OHO. The service is quick and everyone is attentive and friendly. They have happy hour from 3-6pm which I highly recommend. Sam helped my friend and I out at the sushi bar and made sure we were taken care of. They have a variety of rolls and cuts to choose from. I've recommended OHO to a couple of my friends since coming here and will definitely come back! Parking on the street can be a little tough but they share a lot with the next door motel that I utilized when I came.

Small location, but the sushi was delicious. They have a very unique selection of sushi and it's very fresh. The presentation of each roll was great, and all the ingredients of some of the more unique rolls blended well. Great sushi chefs here. Definitely recommend.
