Best sandwiches in the area. We used to live closer so we would go often but now we live a 15 minute drive away but my wife still has us go out when she’s craving a sandwich. Great ingredients and lots of options.

Had to pick up something in the LBC yesterday and tried to find the best place to grab some sandwiches to have later in the day at our local Concerts in the Park.\n\nReally glad I found OLIVES under a Yelp search for "gourmet sandwiches" because my sandwich was probably one of the very best sandwiches I've ever had. \n\nI ordered the Muffulettas sandwich ($10.49) and the flavors were incredible. I met a guy on a cruise ship in the Bahamas that spoke highly of Olives Gourmet Grocer. Having lived in Long Beach for over a decade, I was surprised I have never visited the place. This is a super cute deli market with fresh sandwiches, some bakery items, and other deli stuff. The sandwich was freshly made and they got daily specials.
