Love this neighborhood spot that always makes you feel like home! It has become our Friday night take out/date night. The food is prime quality so it's in the name. Highly recommend the swordfish with the seasonal salad and the hearts of palm ceviche to start. The menu offerings are unique and shift with the seasons. We are hoping that this gem isn't closed for good because it's a Long Beach staple.

What a surprise!! My son found this little place and bragged about how much he enjoyed it so I was super excited to try it out. I loved it!! We hit it at the right time. Tables were full, but no wait. Soon after there were at least 4 to 5 parties waiting for a table. I love the Shenandoahs in Los Alamitos but this is not the same except that the food is good. Small exotic menu. Great appetizers. Great atmosphere!! My son loves the elote. I had the Mac n Cheese and brussel sprouts. Others had a burger and the brisket sandwich which they loved. Judging from the other tables the fried chicken sandwich is very very popular. Can't wait to go back!!!

LOVED IT!! My boyfriend and I went for the first time tonight. We went towards the end of the night. We stumbled upon it on accident during a night walk. I was immediately attracted to the smell of the food. As we crossed the street we saw more of the area. Beautiful night lights, cute and cozy setting, and immediately greeted by friendly staff. The food was DELICIOUS. We started with an appetizer, Amazing! Then we tried a main dish, Spectacular! So we thought, ok we have to try dessert, Fantastic! Basically: friendly staff, great food, and a nice ambiance. We're bringing the family next time. Check it out for yourself!!

Last night was a very important date for my family and we wanted to have a private dinner and I knew, from living a few blocks away, that Prime had a private back area that seats about 20. The owner Clint said he could seat us back there when we spoke days ahead not sure if he'd have the staff on a Wednesday night to handle the front of house and a private event in the back. Himself and Sofia made it a point to check in on us plenty to assure we had an amazing time and that we did. From the service to the food everything was 100! Every single person in our group was beyond shocked by the food and are all already talking about when we can go back. THANK YOU to the Prime family for making this dinner so special for us. Might have to make it a yearly thing, with lots of others in between.

I love this unique set up at this once home now restaurant! The menu options are great. I love the diversity in the menu. I've been twice now and both times the food was good! The only thing I really dislike is all the waste with the paper plates/ cups/ table covers. Not sure the reasoning behind that.

Mmmm....let my tell you how delicious and juicy their Grandma's fried chicken sandwich is!!! Flavorful with EVERY single bite, fried to perfection and moist, the slaw has a great flavor and the right amount of cheese. I got the combo that came with smoke fries and dipping sauces. This is such a cute neighborhood restaurant. Is street parking, they have an adorable outdoor patio. I got take out and it was quite easy. Highly recommended.
While in Long Beach, I was tasked with finding dinner and looked into this place. Suffice to say, my family member (who lives in the area) hadn't heard nor tried the place so we gave it a shot. Best food I've had, definitely going back!
