Rubio's has a special place in my heart because it was one of my first jobs as a teen! I worked at the town center location, Lakewood location, and briefly here on 2nd street. My family came in last night and the menu is still extensive, so many options, love the new under $10 deals and point system! I ordered a 2 taco plate, the fam ordered a blackened mahi burrito, langostino lobster burrito, shrimp taco plate and the impossible burrito especial. We enjoyed our dinner! Barbara assisted us, she provided us with welcoming service and brought our meals to our table. There was a miscommunication with my order and she came back and made sure it was fixed, even after I had mentioned that it was not an issue. I was happy either way! The restaurant was very tidy, still has the same set up, salsa bar was looking good! We had a great time. I do feel like the quality of food has gone down however the service and ambiance remains the same.

Seriously, this has to be one of the best Rubio's! I've been coming here for years and I have visited other locations. The shrimp tacos are delicious, I promise! I've had both shrimp tacos and burritos. This location is consistent with flavors, presentation and freshness. Other Rubio locations are not consistent, unfortunately. Service is professional and courteous and the location is clean and presentable. Thank you Rubio's on 2nd in lovely Long Beach!

I usually LOVE this rubios location since I moved here because it is usually fast, convenient, and cheap. But after tonight's ordeal, I don't know if I will be coming back. First off, I placed an online order, the order consisted of a taco plate and a shrimp bowl with everything on it EXCEPT beans. Then when my boyfriend brought the food back, the only things the bowl had in it were shrimp and rice, that's it. First of all, I work in customer service, and the right thing to do would have been to double check with the customer that this is indeed what they order, because a bowl with just shrimp and rice is a little odd. Then I insisted that I go back to rubios with my boyfriend (because he is not the confrontational type) and ask them to correct it. I went in and they kindly obliged, and I thought that would be the end of it. Unfortunately, when we got home, the order was STILL wrong, even after telling them we wanted the same bowl with everything BUT BEANS. I should've known better considering they literally gave us a bowl with shrimp and rice last time, but I thought they would get it right since I told them TWICE about what we ordered. Not only were there beans in it, but the bowl had carne asada instead of shrimp.....and like barely any meat at that. So I paid 13 dollars for a bowl that they got wrong TWICE that ended up taking more time to receive than it would've if I ordered something else, which is not fast, convenient, or cheap (considering I paid for something I didn't want).

I usually love Rubio's but everything about this experience was awful, unfortunately. The food was cold and under cooked. The patio filthy and the icing on the cake was the young man associate who didn't want to give me the restroom code as it's "for customers only." Excuse me?? Once I DID get the code out of him, the bathroom was a disgrace. A used women's sanitation napkin taped to the wall, no toilet paper, and no paper towels. Glad to know they only let customers use that literal dump of a facility. Won't be returning to Belmont Shore.

The gentleman who I believe is the store manager, was just wonderful. This place always has the best customer service. I've been coming here for two or three years and never had a bad experience.

In long Beach California Is rundown needs a full face-lift but if u don't care about that no biggie food is great must try its great.Vegetarian options: You can turn any food item in the menu vegetarian if u don't eat meat by choosing vegetables or beyond meat fake meat
