Presentation of food was on point. Drinks took a while to get to the table. The restaurant was not busy for it to take that long.

Amazing food and service! Don't live anywhere close, but if we ever come back we'll definitely stop by again. We celebrated our bdays and anniversary, and we couldn't have picked a better place. Bartender was very nice and all the drinks he made were great! Thank you!

Absolutely delicious! Not only were the dishes great but they were also displayed beautifully. Our waiter Carlos was super friendly and helpful. He shared knowledge with us about the dishes and what made them unique. The chef, Ceaser, came out to greet us, which was awesome. Overall, great food and great experience.

First time at Ruta 15. Carlos was magnificent with the service and to explain to detail each plate and consistency. The flavor on each plate was vividly with explosion on my palate. The presentation was a feast to my eyes and appetite. The Michelada was complementary and refreshing on a hot summer day. Thank you Xarlis.

We had seen this advertised on IG, my wife and I finally got to visit it on a Sunday afternoon, and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, the place was nice and clean, but what topped the evening was the food, the food was really good and the prices are very reasonable.
We will definitely be back!

Be prepared for a fantastic surprise. What seems to be another little place in 7th St Long Beach turns into, by far, the best seafood culinary experience in the West US. The menu is an absolute master piece of concept, diversity and selection of dishes and ingredients of the real tradicional Mexican gastronomy, the physical restaurant takes care of every little detail, in the way that only the best in the Mexican food industry, leader in the world, now how to do, but the flavors when you try their entrees are what are going to make you dream. They have a masterful handling of every ingredient and their final products are nothing else but espectacular, denoting international chef-level kitchen skills.
All this with a beautiful service and the absolute cleanliness that characterizes the Mexican restaurants.
Do not think, just try it, you’ll be amazed like me.

This is an amazing local spot for seafood from states in Mexico along Ruta 15; hence the name. It's one of the few places in LA that offers Pescado Zarandeado (grilled snook). Their ceviches are delicious and unique. There are a number of innovative renditions of Mariscos. Everything we tried was extremely fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Their service is lovely. This is one of our go to places in the City Of Long Beach.

Went here on a date. Started off good with some tasty ceviche, but then both of our entrees were not what we ordered. Mine had dry chicken, and whatever food they gave me (no clue, cause it definitely wasn’t what I ordered) was very bland.

Issue wasn’t addressed by the staff, then we were charged $100+. The check had half the stuff we ended up with, and the entree I was charged for was what I ordered and didn’t receive. Pretty sure they just tried to sweep their mistake under the rug with the check. Super uncomfortable.

Now I get to think about that every time I walk by on my way to the grocery store! I live in the area and there is so much better food and service at other restaurants that won’t hurt your wallet. Run in the other direction.

Chef Cesar is a genius and I don't say that lightly. As a Chef myself I am extremely critical and picky of where I eat. Ruta 15 is by far one of the best Mexican spots in Long Beach, Cesar my deepest respect 🙏 your food is amazing.

Very good food, 1st time here, I saw the Instagram page and had to check it out. I had the pulpo zarandeado which was perfectly cooked and served. My wife had Discada de Mariscos, my son had shrimp tacos, and I added the 6 shooters of mixed seafood, shrimp tostada ceviche, and lastly chicharron guacamole, whew. Very delicious, my wife is very picky as she's from coastal Sonora and rarely likes seafood restaurants. This is the 2nd one in a row she loves!
