Tucked in an alley or plaza. Hidden from passers by. Only one man preparing but he managed it well. It was great timing as it was not busy yet. Food was delicious and good serving.

Food is very good. I would definitely go back for their falafels! So yummy, so fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
We ordered the Falafel side and the Mediterranean Plate. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of good food.

The food was absolutely delicious. I have many dietary restrictions and eat for my genetics so I had a salad and the lentil soup. I wanted to try the cauliflower but it was not available. Beautifully served. The salad plate look like a work of art. The lentil soup was one of the best I have ever had.

I would just say. Please, please, please. Hair nets. Hair nets. Hair nets. The was a strand of hair on the smaller white plates near the checkout counter and somehow a strand of hair turned up on the side of the lentil soup bowl. It was not in my soup but partly on the inside side half hang out. Must have been the lady that came to clean the table after a guest left. So maybe it fell in with her passing. Please have all ladies with long hair wear hairnets. The food is way tooooo good for this issue.

The gentleman who served me was a delight with a beautiful smile.

This retail complex used be thriving back in the day but it is pretty empty these days. However, there is plenty of seating outside and inside. I highly recommend Saffron.

The hummus and taziki sauce is homemade and it is some of the best I have ever had. The rice is very flavorful and the pita bread is best enjoyed when it’s warm and fresh. I Harold and get a plate at least once a week.

Saffron Mediterranean Grill is hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty! We tried the lamb and chicken kabobs, and they were absolutely out of this world. The proteins were cooked to perfection- juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The rice was fluffy and seasoned beautifully, and the salad was topped with rich spices that created a flavor explosion in every bite. And the hummus? Simply amazing! Creamy, smooth, and perfectly balanced.

This was easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Long Beach. On top of the incredible food, it’s family-owned, which makes supporting them even more meaningful. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and try it- you will not be disappointed!

The lamb kabobs were so flavorful I didn’t even use the sauce they came with (although it was good too). The pita was pillowy. With the rice and salad, it was enough for 2 delicious meals.

I had the Hummus plate with Lamb for lunch a few days back and it was amazing. So much so that I felt compelled to leave a review (which I never do). Would highly recommend.
