We ordered the albondigas soup to share and asked if they could serve in 2 bowls. They did! ? Sometimes, all you need to do is ask. The food, service, and ambiance were great! Highly recommend this place!Parking: Parking on the street is available but can be difficult to find but there is paid parking lot behind the restaurant so you won't need to walk far.

I have been a loyal Super Mex customer for the last approximately 48 years...starting with the original small restaurant on 1st Street and near Alamitos. My daughters grew up going mostly to the one on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore.Within the past couple years my visits have been ok, but really just ok.Tonight, one of my daughters and I went and it seems like a next level improvement. From friendliness of All staff, to our wonderful server Jorge, to the best tasting meal we have enjoyed there...I just wonder what may have spurred the improvement. Whatever that is-the experience was really superb and reminds me why I've kept coming all these years.Kudos to you Super Mex- and Thank you.Jackson Hendrick
