Excellent quality fish and greatly prepared nigiris (great proportion of shari to fish, and well mounted), they have great Toro, Uni and probably the best Unagi that I have ever had. You can tell the sushi is good when the octopus is well prepared (soft and not chewy). Every time I come to LB I have to go... amongst the best sushis in America full stop.

Sushi Ai in Long Beach is a fantastic find! I visited for dinner on a Sunday night and tried their combo, which was excellent in both quality and portion size.

While I don't personally eat sushi or sashimi, I was craving some good katsu, and Sushi Ai didn't disappoint. Their katsu was delicious and perfectly prepared.

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at Sushi Ai in Long Beach and wanted to share my thoughts.
