Sushi kinoya is a hidden gem! My girlfriend and I were looking for a new experience and we found it. Right away this place caught our attention it was clean, inviting and I loved their neon lights and decor. Especially their Akira poster! The owners/staff were very kind and attentive, we loved the jazz they were playing while we browsed and ate our meal. Now to the sushi!!! It was amazing fresh, and pieces just melted in our mouths! The photos speak for themselves just take a look. This is our new favorite sushi date spot. It's got a romantic quiet and classy vive.

The high rating is a false rating here. Table was unclean with crusted food. Table maintenance none existent and food quality low. The crème brûlée was floating in sugar water and the size of 1/4 cup. Stay away. Odor of place was even slightly funky.

I appreciate the changes they made to the dining area and the menu. I was craving vegetable tempura and ended up ordering sushi to go along with it, all delicious and fresh. Sushi Kinoya is my neighborhood go-to for Japanese food.

My wife and I frequent many Japanese restaurants and this has become our favorite local spot. The menu is full of authentic and delicious options as well as the common comfort treats. The staff is attentive and kind and I can sense a real care to their House Special Recipes. Today we had the Chirashi and Tekka Don and they were both perfect. We also had the Truffle Hamachi Roll but devoured it before we could take pictures
Hands down the best sushi in long beach. Have been here a few times and still making my way through the entire menu but have yet to find anything short of amazing. This is the freshest fish in the area

Terrible service towards people of color and anyone in the Trans community. They treated my friend like she was nothing and took forever to make our food plus got it wrong then made us wait 10 minutes before asking us what we wanted again. We just walked out afterwards. Then they have the nerve to tell us pay for your drinks. What drinks you have our table mixed up with someone else. Cringe much

The selection of fresh fish and unique rolls at reasonable prices is impressive. Having visited before the ownership change, I can truly appreciate how much the quality of every dish has improved. The upgrades are noticeable and enhance the overall dining experience!
