Today was my first time and BABYYYYY they did not disappoint. I had their curry chicken patties and they were sooooooo good. I was hesitant because I’m such a picky eater but it was so good! I’ll be taking my family here soon! Love it!

Ordered online. Food was ready for pick up quickly. It was hot and delicious. We like spicy and it was just that. I thought the serving size was large. We had the jerk chicken with peas and rice. It is our go to Jamaica cuisine. We will order again.

Gotta love me some Jamaican patties. The beef patty was great, packed with flavor and a good amount of beef for the $6 price tag. I was supposed to eat the curry chicken but my husband accidentally stole it. I also got the jerk chicken and it was packed with flavor as well as a little spice to it too! We'll be back whenever we're in the area.

Oxtail specialty- Maybe I just caught this establishment on a bad day. Oxtails WERE NOT SEASONED!! 1 potato literally in the dish. Planteens should automatically be served with specialty platters instead of a separate fee.( I’m just sayin) . Fast service tho! Maybe that’s why the oxtails were horrible, clearly it was a rush job done. I was pissed!

I had a taste for some oxtails and I live in Lakewood. So I Google Caribbean restaurants that were close to me and this place came up. I ordered online which was very simple and easy. The prices are competitive or comparable to other restaurants like this and I was very satisfied with the quality and freshness and the amount of the food that was given. I will be back.

$100 oxtail, fish, 2 patties. Oxtail and fish both chewy fish was way over cooked and a laughable small portion. Had to salt the food….lacking so much flavor I can’t wrap my head around $100. Crazy spending fine dinning money you’d expect greatness at a whole in the wall. And didn’t give a sauce for the fish they wanted to charge $1 for. I got robbed

I am so happy I came into the store rather than order online!! Such friendly service and as soon as you walk in you are hit with the aroma of jerk sauce. We ordered Jerk chicken, Rasta Pasta with shrimp, and the curry pumpkin and chick pea. Everything was amazing but our favorite was the curry pumpkin. The heat level on everything was perfect for me. I usually enjoy a homemade jerk chicken or rib with plenty of Walkerswood Jerk Seasoning (Hot) if that helps you judge. The Rasta pasta was a little on the hot side, but the sweet from the curry pumpkin evened it out nicely.

I am highly disappointed. My mom was craving ox tails for dinner; it’s MOTHER’S DAY. I went up to this place, grabbed my food, got home and opened up my bag just to realize that they forgot the ox tails. I had to drive back over there, which took 15 minutes btw, and when I got there, a girl in the front explained to me that there were no more ox tails left. So why would you not explain that to me when I grabbed my food?! You had me drive back over here just to tell me you guys are out of ox tails?! Ridiculous. When I asked to have a different meal instead, she said “No, we can’t do that.” and as a “substitute” she gave me a drink. A DRINK INSTEAD OF A MEAL WORTH THE SAME PRICE AS MY $32 MISSING MEAL. Crazy!! My whole entire order cost $120. THIS FOR $120?!!! The lady claimed that I was being refunded for the ox tails, but I received no receipt verifying this at all. When I got home of course my other meals were cold. It took me a whole hour going back and forth. All and all, they deliberately let me walk out of the establishment knowing that one of my meals was missing. They made my entire order knowing that they didn’t have the ox tails and instead of calling to inform me, let me travel back home with the idea that I had everything. Do not visit this place!

A quaint Jamaican takeout joint serving authentic fare. Perfectly seasoned jerk chicken and some of the best Jamaican beef patties I've had outside of outside of Jamaica.
Prices are high for the portions on offer, but it's still quite good overall.
