I’m not sure if I’m coming back, because I could tell the food wasn’t fresh. The chicken was old and hard. PLEASE STOP SERVING OLD FOOD. This was my second time going here. First time they overcharged me and didn’t notice until I got home.

The customer service is great. The owner is very friendly. The food was disappointing. For the price, the oxtails were a let down. They were sweet. I’ve never known sugar to be a main ingredient for Caribbean food. I went especially for the ackee and salt fish. The ackee was scarce and it was sweet as well. The salt fish helped to balance the flavor. Also, I’ve never had my meal served as a tower. I had vegetables as a side. Not sweet by the way. Thank God. But the vegetables were under the ackee and salt fish, I guess because it was served on a small square container. The rice and beans were dry and you guessed it… had sugar added. I’m sorry I won’t be going back , because I really like the owner. I’m a Jamaica , Caribbean cuisine lover and connoisseur and this was not it for me.

I’m from the Caribbean. Been to a lot of Caribbean restaurant. This spot right there I’m sorry to say. Food has no flavor. Goat only had pepper. No flavor. No seasoning. Spent over $70 on two plate of food and beef patties. Never going back there. I’ll drive to San Diego if I want authentic Jamaican cuisine. Also the food wasn’t even prepared at the Lb location from my observation.

I went there today. 5/10/26 for the first time before they closed. I was so excited to find a Caribbean restaurant. I asked for Roti and Curry potatoes and was disappointed to see that I got no roti with my order when I got home.

Rip off- 36$ for a tiny bowl
Of oxtail - no thank u - The restaurant isn’t even clean. Looks very dirty inside. Lady has a nasty attitude as well when asking about the dishes. Sky high prices for low budget setting.. go somewhere else

Closed when they’re actively taking orders online…Pulled up because good says it is open. Door locked

My friend used the Catering Service, the Food was so unauthentic, the Roti was dense and Hard, the curry was not flavored and the vegetable medley mainly cabbage, will not recommend this service to no one, waste of money.

The food was ok. New York has the best Jamaican food though

Great flavors! Jerk chicken, rice, rasta pasta are all good. Even the cabbage melody side was great. Spicy sauce!

Ordered 2 Oxtail plates very disappointed no spices didn’t taste seasoned lots of fat. Veggies was good. Rice and peas could have been better and plantain $7 and was horrible.

If I could give a 0 I would just off customer service. I called 4 times before arriving no one answered I get there the guy comes to the front with an attitude frown on his face before I even opened my mouth. I said hi I’ve been calling no one answered the phone to place an order, he replies I don’t have time to answer the phone nothing is ready the lady is not here to answer the phone and I don’t have time. He then proceeded to say come back in 20 minutes. I told him I’m on my lunch and don’t work close to the restaurant so I can wait and place my order he had a attitude about that also he then asked what did i want to order I let him know he then told me they don’t even have what I wanted to order and nothing is ready. I just walked out at that point because I be damn if I spend my money and my employees money at a place like this where customer service is horrible it’s a no for me and I will never send anyone to this establishment.
