What an amazing surprise finding this Long Beach gem after church today! Not only was the food delish, but the phenomenal service by Dondre was the icing on top! We cannot wait to tell everyone about this hidden gem & to return ourselves to try more items on the menu! Thank you so much for bringing this Caribbean delight to LBC!!!

Good food. Had the curry goat and chicken roti. Good flavor, good.portions and clean atmosphere. It was a tad spicy for.me (curry i.know..) but I partner loved all.of it. Spoke to the owner from Guyana- great guy. And the roti skins were doubles and delightful. Would visit again

I ordered on uber eats and this was my first time having anything here. The beef patty was on point. I ordered the Jerk chicken but I asked for the oxtail gravy on the rice and beans. And when I tell you they did just that smh baybay it was amazing. The cabbage was good and the plantains that I ordered on the side were good too I just like them a lil crisper than they were. Overall I enjoyed my meal and appreciated the authentic carribean cuisine!

First off its just ok, not nasty but apparently when you order oxtail you get half a bowl of potatoes ??‍♂️ idk if they do this in Jamaica, but i aint NEVER had a mf play like this

The man that works the front is chill and friendly, and the jerk chicken is very flavorful with a nice kick. I'd definitely come back

Every entree dish should come w plantains. Especially at a Carribean restaurant. Plantains are part of every meal.

I placed a phone order employee lady was rude hung up in face and when u pick u up her energy was negative and the food was not for me I got the jerk chicken plate expensive for very small portions the jerk chicken dark meat was ok but that was horrible!!! it seems like it came from straight from the bottle no blend nothing mix won’t be going back on to the next location and I don’t like there system added a tip when I said no tip smh

We got takeout and it was delicious and universally loved at my house. I got the pumpkin curry and it was bomb. A bit pricey for the portion size if you're a big big eater, but was very filling for me. It's also a long drive to other Caribbean food and I'm very very grateful we have a new good eating place in 90808.

I was really excited to finally have a Jamaican food place in Long Beach but I will never go here again. My food smelled and tasted “off” yesterday, but I ate half of it anyways, against my better judgement, because I didn’t want to waste the $20 dollars I spent on one meal here. Well, I’m paying a high price twice because I have been sick to my stomach all morning. This was the only thing I ate yesterday so I know this is the cause, and I wouldn’t wish what I’m currently experiencing on my worst enemy.

Edit: Got this food Tuesday afternoon, and as of now, early Friday morning, I am still ill. Urgent care told me it's food poisoning, so I'm guessing the food I was served was contaminated or spoiled, this is terrible.

Came in here for a birthday meal last week. Staff was very nice. I ordered jerk chicken. When the food arrived I was worried it would be dry but it was moist and very well seasoned. I didn't need to add hotsauce like I normally do perfectly spice. I shared the steam snapper, with my companion it was good not my favorite and got the goat roti to go. Roti was very good as well. I'd come back for sure when I'm Un the mood for Island food and don't feel like cooking it.
