fantastic nook in long beach. great food (pretty classic bar fare but done very well), great bar, great service. some nights with live music, atmosphere spot on. i'll definitely be back to explore the menu a little more and have the bar teach me a drink or two.

Absolute nightmare service. We ordered a single drink each and 30 minutes passed without being served. So naturally, we walked out. Server came chasing us outside accusing us of “running out on our tab” when we were never even served in the first place so how can we have a tab? Terrible attitude from everyone involved.Avoid this place. Idk if they have new owners or new staff but it was a joke of an experience.

We happened to stumble upon The Ordinarie Tavern in Long Beach and we’re glad we did! The service was first rate and the food was really good! I highly recommend the chicken pot pie bites as an appetizer. They were fantastic. We also tried the half chicken entree and the short rib French dip, both of which were also good. Happy Hour is offered from 3-6pm, with specials on beers, drinks and food.

This bar had a super cozy vibe to it. The inside was a lot of wood and photos like a nice pub. The servers were super nice. The drink I had I didn't love but that wasn't anyone's fault. The menu wasn't super vegetarian friendly but I wasn't really planning to eat here anyways. I got a side of fries and they were fine.
