Had an amazing meal at Uncle Fung in Long Beach and I left totally impressed. I tried the Singaporean laksa, hands down the best I've had in SoCal, and it totally took me back to my childhood. However there was a a hair in my noodle soup. But overall highly recommend checking it out!
My son had told me about this place and said food was really good and thought I would like it ( as I am vegetarian and kinda picky) well he was right , so I went with my son and a friend who was visiting and it was both of our first time trying Indonesian food and it was impressive. My son had recommended the Gado-Gado appetizer for all of us and I got the Vegetarian Mie for my main dish. It’s been a while since I’ve been here again and I’m so happy Uncle aging is still here. It’s been a long day, and their savory noodle soup hit right in the spot. The chicken skewers are delicious too. If you’re into flavorful dishes, this has to be your next stop!
