Everything was delicious! From the simple and clean decor, the wonderful and extremely helpful wait staff, the tasty cocktails, to the beautiful and wonderful appetizers and entries. The ceviche, flautas de barbacoa, salmon al pastor, vegetables -YES - and tres leches cake with the Tamarindo cocktail are amazing. The wait staff was attentive, always taking a moment to make sure you enjoyed your meal....always comfortable, never rushed. A a great place to go, relax, and enjoy really good Mexican cuisine.

Viaje on 2nd Street in Long Beach is a delightful addition to the Mexican dining scene. From the flavorful dishes to the attentive service and inviting atmosphere, my visit was truly enjoyable. I highly recommend trying this new gem.

This place reminds me of the amazing restaurants in the city of Mexico (MCDC, something). The ambiance is clean, cool and collected. I love the lighting, the design of every corner. Exceptional vibe. The drinks are all carefully crafted and taste delicious. The food is unique and has its own twist on traditional can dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fun date night or to take clients out.

This place is interesting ! While overall, we enjoyed our meal, I think they do some things better than others. We tried the passion fruit margarita. No bueno. It has a floral taste and it's consistency is unpleasant. To be fair , the waiter seemed hesitant about it when we asked how the aquafaba was used in it. It was just strange. The chips were large almost like a crisp - again not my favorite. It was hard to eat and both salsa choices were very spicy. The waiter switched it out for guacamole but hard to pick up with the crisp/chips. That brings me to the service - which was great. Both the waiter and the busser kept checking , filling water and even sweeping for crumbs from those chips - haha. They made good suggestions and helped when the salsa was too spicy for us. The rest of the food was really good. We had the floutas which came in a brothy bean sauce , the seafood empanadas and the salmon which was cooked perfectly. The ambiance was nice too. Upscale Spanish food.

The steak ribeye was large enough for two to share. Was very tasty. They don't have a whole lot of options, my daughter is a vegan, and there wasn't much for her.. A little overpriced, but it was good nevertheless,

Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in California. Everything from the food , service, and ambience is top notch. Pros - The food here is absolutely delicious. There was not one dish we did not finish - For birthdays, they can design the menu which is definitely an awesome perk - The service is truly wonderful. Our waitress truly made our time amazing and definitely made the experience better - The interior is stunning and gives off romantic vibes Cons - It can get busy especially on the weekends. Other than that, Viaje is one of the best Mexican restaurants in California and easily my favorite in Long Beach. Must try - Flautas - Vegetables - Potato Taco - Cocktails

Food, drinks and service was great. Very rare to find all three in Long Beach. The ambiance was good, but I wish there was more lighting because it was hard to read the menu.
