This was my first time at VUE, and the rooftop was definitely a vibe. I came for a birthday party, and the private room was intimate and perfect for a group of about 50 people.

However, they were clearly understaffed, which led to long wait times for both food and drinks. We arrived pretty hungry, so the delay was noticeable. The bartender, Collie, seemed overwhelmed and unfortunately got our order wrong. We ordered the asada fries with no cheese, but they came out covered in cheese. Due to dietary restrictions, I couldn’t eat them. I had already taken a few bites and started feeling sick, which was frustrating.

When I returned to the bar to address the issue, I felt brushed off, so I asked to speak with a manager. Jasmine (the manager) was amazing. She listened, was kind, patient, and very apologetic. She refunded my order and made the situation right. Because of her professionalism, I would definitely consider coming back.

For reference, our total came out to a little over $82. We ordered the half chicken with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies, an Old Fashioned, a rum and pineapple, and the asada fries.

Overall, the rooftop atmosphere and private space were great for celebrations. I just hope the staffing improves so others don’t experience the same issues we had.

All i gotta say is it fake advertisement with the pictures lmao. Place wayyyyyy to loud. Took forever to be seated.

Great rooftop restaurant on top of the Holiday Inn Long Beach! The view is amazing the service was great and the food is amazing!

Went for the bar friend invited us the bartender was so friendly she offered to make my wife a salad after we missed dinner hours by a few minutes and then gave us the best midori sour I've had in years better than soda not sticky sweet string enough to know its there but not taste it wow im so sad I ordered a beer on tap I wasted her time I Wil definitely be coming back a couple times and I gotta make sure she's our bartender thanks Kali. It was so nice to see the quiet parts of the city im so familiar with from a beautiful penthouse view I would definitely invite my professional work friends for a great drink here.

I wish I remembered my servers name but she went above and beyond to make my wife and I's anniversary special. I got the ribeye and it was delicious and my wife loved her food as well. We ordered the crème brûlée and it was fantastic and our server even gave us an extra dessert. The view was beautiful it was cool to see the planes landing. Very romantic we will be back.

Had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and Our waiter Miguel was phenomenal. The restaurant has the most beautiful view of Long Beach and cool vibe!

Had not been there in awhile sister stayed for a visit and wow what a transformation 👏🏾

The food is good, the view is great but the Sangria's are the best.

Clam chowder the bomb for me
