Love Zankou, I have eaten at many of the locations since they opened years ago. Hollywood, Burbank, Pasadena. Now in Long Beach!!! So happy they opened one. It's so good!!! Always super busy. I would advise to order in advance.
It's always seemed to me that chain restaurants tend to be best right after they've opened up, and that's definitely the case here. Zankou Chicken is always good but this new location seemed just slightly better than the older ones. The food came out immediately and yet it was hot and fresh, like it had just been made. My only complaint is the complaint I have about Zankou in general, which is their portion size. Their quarter dark meat chicken plates are too small, but a half...read full review
