We were tried Wood & Salt Tavern, centrally located in Bixby Knolls. The service was great, the food superb and hubby said his Old Fashion was the best he’s had in quite some time. He had the chicken Parmesan with burrata and I had the fettuccine with clams. Both dishes with homemade fresh pasta. Today was my second visit to Wood & Salt. The food and service is outstanding. All the dishes we ordered were flavorful. Always wonderful to find a hidden gem like Wood and Salt. Dog friendly on their outside patio too!

Wood & Salt Tavern in Long Beach was such a pleasant surprise — the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease. From the moment we walked in, Gabriel greeted us with the warmest welcome and let us choose any seat we liked. No pushiness, no upsell — just that perfect, low-key hospitality that makes you want to stay a while.
