“Great old school local spot near Knott's Berry farm. Good food and extensive menu with large portions at decent prices. The lounge has tons of TVs for sports. Full bar and decent amount of beers on tap and in bottles. Larry at the bar was outstanding. I'll be back!

“Great place, with friendly service and a great ambiance, if you like these loud sports bars. We all liked our food - it was "good" (OK would sound as if any of us had been unhappy) - good burgers and fries. Unless I would be asked by someone to join particularly there, I doubt I would go again. It's not a "No" to the restaurant itself, it is a "Yes" to all the other great places on the same street I have not explored yet. So again, if you want to check out games and have a great night out with like-minded, this is highly recommended.“

“Lakewood Rocks Sports Bar is a very nice. Great live bands, friendly bartenders, clean, dance floor, nice decore and set up well. It may look small from the outside but step in and you will find it's much larger. Sue the owner is a very friendly person and takes pride in what she does. Myself as a woman feels safe there. Nice friendly clientele. The door manager is a great guy. Step into Lakewood Rocks Sportsbar and enjoy a good time!“

“We’re “Regulars.” The wait staff treat us so well, and the food is terrific. We see tables populated by seniors, parents with babes in arms, post-game soccer stars, and golf buddies. This is truly a neighborhood gem!“

“If you play pool this is your place anywhere from novice to pro tables are well maintained for public standards fun atmosphere. The crowd is a good mix of young and old drama is left at the door not the barstool Thanks guys great experience from a long time fixture of old-school HB where the real hang!PS gave the atmosphere a 5 star cause not snotty,snutty,people are friendly service well the gals make good drinks and do it with a smile and quick whit to me this leaves a lasting impression of your welcome here.“

“Bartenders are mostly crazy hot. Most of them are nice, some are THE WORST, but that's to be expected at a bikini bar. Tacos are legit. Some locals are awesome, some are a joke, it's hit or miss, but overall I like this place. If it was closer to home, I'd be here more often. Tattoo guys next door can be dbags. Rare though.“

“I had wonderful time there at Shannon’s On Pine. Everyone who works there are very friendly and service excellent. I was there for a special event with KLBP and The Long Beach Blues Society. All the musicians who played outside in the outdoor eating area were there for The International Day of Music . I want to thank Shannon’s On Pine for staging this event with our 501(c) California Charity The Long Beach Blues Society. Great food,excellent beverages, and fun atmosphere. Even without a special event this place rocks Bob Barr Long Beach, California“

“Everything great deli should be. I work 5 minutes down the road from this place and had never eaten there until this week. Now, I’ll be frequenting it because it was so yummy. They have SO many delicious and creative sandwich options. And they are very accommodating and allow you to customize anything to your liking. And the staff is super nice. Our cashier was so helpful when placing our order - she listened to what I wanted and steered me towards the perfect sandwich. And it was super delicious - I got the hot pastrami on a roll with Swiss, mustard, and pickles. One of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!“

She was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. “We found this place while on vacation in Long Beach and saw they had breakfast so we gave it a try.
The food was excellent. Huge portions. Really homecooked type food, nothing felt frozen. Awesome bacon and one of the best sausage patties I have ever had. The prices were really reasonable for the amount of food.
The service was outstanding. The bartender was really friendly and treated us like we were regulars. Our waitress was amazing and friendly. We enjoyed it so much we went back twice for breakfast and once for beers at night. (Guiness on tap!)“
“I LOVE THIS PLACE - on Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays. The female bartender that works those nights is an absolute joy. Her drinks are awesome & her personality is even better than her drinks. It's a place I go to when I've had a hard day. Great atmosphere, entertaining. But if you want food, order before you actually are hungry because the food court take their time getting the food to you. That has happened to me everytime I order food thru the bartender.“

“We are new in the area and were looking for a local friendly place to relax with a drink and some good food. What we found was a way beyond. The ladies greeted us two strangers with big smiles and huge welcomes. They quickly offered us drinks and menus then, gave us the low down on specials and a lil history of the bar. We felt at home immediately. That was just the beginning! The bloody marys were on point, freshly made (no mix crap), and the food! We ate every bit of it! Onion rings are fresh and crispy, Italian Sub also crispy with a great blend of meats, cheese, and peppers, and I believe he had the pastrami. It was almost all over when we said pics! So excuse the sloppy pics, but dont miss the cameo of that delish bloody mary and beer back! A great Go-To place! So happy we found The Marlin, we will be back. Thank you for a great time!“

There's a jukebox that you can pay to play music, a Foosball table, darts and a punching machine if you wanna diversify your fun. Tables are in good standing and I didn't see a bad pool cue. “Small place, which makes it pretty cozy. I like Friday nights they have karaoke, but if you’re trying to have a conversation that would not be the place to go on a Friday night they have excellent wings and the pastrami fries are amazing my husband and I just started to go for brunch. There’s usually not a wait and the brunch is decent and the prices are fair. The customer service can be inconsistent at times on the weekends. I have always had good service on Friday night.“

“I absolutely love this place. It has excellent food. We have never had an issue with my orders. The owners and their staff are like family. We’re always greeted with a smile and a hug. Kid friendly. I love the live bands on Friday and Saturday nights. And my husband enjoys watching his favorite Teams there on Sunday.“
