This place is an awesome little find. Good place to have a quiet drink and the food is amazing. I didn't know you could come here since it's located on the base - but anyone can come in and go to the pub. I love this place.

The Special Ops steak is better than I've had at large chain restaurants! The prices here are fabulous and the overall experience is generally very good. They have a large variety of drinks available and there is dinning inside and on the patio. If your looking for a banquet hall, they have them here too! The only downside is the operating hours.

I probably go to The Pub more times than I should! The food has never disappointed, along with the service. It's also fun being around active duty, along with our veterans. There is a nice big patio too where you can watch drills and training on the landing strip. This is a great spot to bring the whole family!!

i have been wanting to try this for years and finally got around to doing it tonight.i went with 2 of my daughters their husbands and kids. its on the military base in los alamitos and civilian's can go. i have found my go to place. as everyone loved everything. Autumn was our waitress and she was amazing. we had a ton of appetizers cocktails and our main course and they were all amazing. food is top notch but really cheap. they had tv's with games on and a fusbol table for the kids. everyone ( all the military people ) were very friendly and welcoming. they have a patio out front u can hang out on and watch the planes land during the day. this is a hidden gem where u can get great food and drinks for cheap and pay respects to the heroes that serve us all. it's not fancy but it is my new weekly family dinner place.

It's okay, the service is great, slow at busy times but the food is just normal food nothing that is spectacular I would give it better stars but I felt the price for quality was not matched right. Maybe it was just me but I payed way to much for a couple of meals with drinks on a base it was almost 50$ that's to me is way to high on base. Taco Thursday feels like a better bargain but regular food your not getting out there for less than 20-25$ a meal. Like a burger and drinks will easily run you that amount.

Had dinner with a friend here this week... first time visit and had to try it out based on the reviews. Food was very good...hot and freshly prepared. Autumn was our bartender/server (doing double duty on a slower Wednesday evening) and she was amazing!! Autumn took such good care of us and was so sweet and personable! Not to mention she pours an excellent martini!! My friend had the cheeseburger and I had the chili cheeseburger (not something I would usually order but it seemed like a good idea). We were both pleased with our food. Got fries on the side, hot and fresh, and side salads. The menu is limited but something for everyone. Prices are definitely right, especially given the post-COVID out of control pricing most restaurants seem to have adopted anymore. Ambiance is okay... could be great if they could figure out an alternative to the fluorescent lighting. Great meal, great price, great service. Will definitely be back. Btw... be sure to set the address in your GPS... once you're on the base, if you're a civilian, you'll never find it on your own, LOL.
