Really nice wines. Very approachable. I highly recommend the vineyard tour if you can. Will Henry is a great story teller about how he got started, how the winery is operated and how they employ strict regenerative organic farming practices to keep the soil healthy and produce fabulous grapes.. Adding ginger to the wines instead of sulfites is a fantastic idea. It's natural and the wines taste clean and bright as a result. My only regret is I didn't get to see the grape...
A great experience while traveling alone through wine country. Los Alamos is a hidden gem. Lumen Wines tasting room and patio, attached to Pico, is heavenly. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu and enjoy more "grapes"!
What an amazing space and not to mention amazing wine to go with it. Sitting down for an afternoon tasting on the back patio was truly delightful, hands down best place to have a glass of wine or three in Los Alamos! The staff was very helpful and we ended up enjoying the wine so much we took some home...Pinot Noir '14 was definitely a treat.
