The attentive and knowledgeable staff are highlighted, with one standout member deserving of a promotion to server. The food is described as amazing and worth the price, with particular praise for the cauliflower appetizer and winter risotto. The appetizers are incredibly innovative and wonderful, including crispy cauliflower, burrata, and avocado crudo with caviar, which feel like they belong at a Michelin restaurant. The bacon praline served in a mini cast iron pan with maple syrup is out of this world and can satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. The main courses are also impressive; a line-caught halibut from Gaviota on a bed of jasmine rice and a pork chop are both terrific. The ingredients are sourced locally, making the meal even more special. The cocktails are excellent, with a unique twist on the old fashion. The menu offers delectable dishes that impress diners, and the ambiance is described as lovely, with perfect lighting and just the right volume of music. Overall, Pico Los Alamos is considered one of the best restaurants in the area, with friendly service, great food, and a warm Californian vibe.
