So glad we made the trip to this tasting room! Joaquin was our host and he is probably the most knowledgeable person I've ever talked to in a tasting room! We love Grenache so this winery's wines were perfect for us to try. We sampled a sparkling, a Grenache blanc, a rosé, and several traditional Grenaches. I wasn't a huge fan of the rosé but enjoyed all the others. We ended up buying 2 bottles of Grenache blanc and 6 bottles of Grenache. We probably spent 90 minutes with Joaquin...read full review
Grenache is one of my favorite wine varietals. It's usually medium-bodied and pairs well with food in all seasons of the year. Angela does a singular job with that grape. She instills complexity in her wine not often encountered with other makers. The tasting room is comfortable and Joaquin our server was fun and gracious. A fantastic female-owned boutique winery exploring Grenache and its relations. Joaquin was a brilliant steward of both the town and the wine. And, the wine is delicious! I will be back to this homey wine tasting room on my next trip.
