The service was lovely. However, the food left much to be desired. Very small portions, tasteless, and very salty. The best thing we had was the rye cornbread with honey butter and one of the special salads.

Pico is my new favorite restaurant in the SYV. We had a large group dinner planned for 14 people and Maria, the manager, was extremely helpful and kind in helping us plan this dinner party. She was very detailed and helpful with the group’s dietary restrictions and all of the food was incredibly delicious. Our whole group was blown away by the beautiful place settings, custom menus, name cards, cocktails, food and everything in between. We cannot express how grateful we are for such an incredible experience. Also, our server Kristen was fantastic and so kind. Thank you to the Pico team - we will definitely be back!

This was an amazing restaurant! We stopped in Los Alamos to use a bathroom while on a road trip, and this place called our eye. We ordered peach crumble, and it was exquisite! The peaches were from the tree that was in the back patio, and it hit the spot! Additionally, the service was amazing. Our server was so sweet and attentive. She paid great attention to small details and was extremely polite. The bathroom was also beautiful. That is not the main point of this review, however, it is worth noting that the bathroom was clean, with high-end soap, and very nice towels. Overall, if I were to stop through Los Alamos again, I would definitely come back for that crumble.

I first read about Pico in the Qantas in-flight magazine about 8 years ago. It piqued my interest because I have family in Los Alamos. The food looked great and to say that the wine list is extensive would be an understatement. Finally made it last night and it was fantastic. Friendly south west American service, great ambience, delicious food and fabulous wine pairing. We tried the beets with burrata, steak tartare (can I just say the beef in these parts of the US is absolutely spectacular), rabbit carnitas tostadas, crispy cauliflower and the rib eye special with fingerling potatoes and arugula. All was delicious. We paired it with a Nebbiolo which like the meal was excellent. Reluctant to bring the evening to a close we also ordered the berry crisp with ice cream for dessert. First class food and service but with that warm Californian vibe. Will be back! Thanks for a great night! Be sure to add this to your Central Coast road trip plans!

One of the best meals I've ever had! The drinks and dessert are so delicious as well, you must try the panna cotta!
We stopped by Pico for lunch following a bike ride. Needless to say, we were very hungry, so enjoyed our food before taking many photos! All was spectacular! Haley, our server recommended tasty beverages to pair perfectly with our food. Haley is so intuitive and quick to grasp what a customer would enjoy eating and drinking. We ended up ordering several dishes over the course of our meal - avocado crudo, french fries, burrata salad, hamburger, pork chop entree, dessert and drinks. They have indoor and outside patio seating. Pico is one of our favorite local restaurants owned by a lovely family.
The most amazing food we had on our trip! First of all, the restaurant is extremely charming and inviting. What a beautiful restoration of an old general store. It was unique and fun. The service shined at all times. The food was absolutely outstanding. We had a group of 20 people and everyone raved about their meal. Each course was outstanding. We had the most unique kale and broccolini salad. Have never had anything like that. And I don't eat broccolini or kale, but would come back just for that. Our second course was a mushroom pasta. Phenomenal ! We chose between a beautiful steak or line caught fish. Once again, the sides were extremely tasty especially the butter beans and mashed potatoes. I can highly recommend this restaurant!
We had a spectacular meal here. The cocktails are wonder. I enjoyed my old fashion which had a unique twist and would have ordered another if I hadn't been driving. The appetizers are incredibly innovative and wonderful . The crispy cauliflower the Burarata and the Avocado crudo with caviar were so great I thought I was at a Michelin restaurant. The bacon praline served in a mini cast iron pan with maple syrup was out of this world. I could have just had two or three of these and been totally satisfied. But since we were sharing we had to continue on to the mains. And I must say my line caught halibut from Gaviota was perfect on a bed of jasmine rice. My partner had the pork chop which was also terrific. All the ingredients are sourced locally which made the entire meal all the more special. Hands down the best restaurant in the Los Olivos/Los Alamos area.

Pico is warm and welcoming, The bar area is large as you enter with adjacant high top seating. The vibe is great with warm wood tones and hundreds of wine bottles lining the walls. We stopped at the bar for pre dinner cocktails. They were expertly crafted by their mixologist. One in particular stood out. It was the lost limos, tequila, mescal with a ginger infusion. On our first night we met the manager Kace and sat on the patio with surrounding heaters (60). On the second night we sat in the front bar area in oversized incredibly comfortable lounge chairs. Carlos was our server. Our first night we ordered apps , salads and entrees that we all shared. West coast oysters, of course, the tuna special, cauliflower, avocado tuna and mushroom anulotti.. All were delicious!! For entrees we shared the big ass pork, Ribeye steak and a Hallibut special. One was better than the next. The service was exceptional. We were new to Santa Barbara Varietals and Kace offered delicious selections for each course and educated us about the region. A perfect night for us We contentedly walk our 1/2 mile to out VRBO and played cards. Note: The wines on the walls are labelled with prices. Those are the retail cost of the wine to take home with you. The wine list has the in restaurant prices with their margin/corkage fee included. Very Very highly recommended!! Addendum: The chef and her husband, Will Henry, own and operate the vineyard Lumen. We visited Lumen and enjoyed their wine experience. Slainte
