Our niece’s wedding was here. The venue exceeded our expectations in all ways…gardens, cocktail area, dinner, service, it was all breathtaking! Including the two tiny burros the groom had brought in to delight all of us. What Great way to start out! And meeting the owner was frosting on the cake. What a nice person!
Not only did I have the best barbeque chicken I have ever had, it was probably one of the best meals I have ever had....to this day.
I just had the most beautiful and perfect wedding at this venue! My husband and I were looking for something small and intimate and our family was hoping for something big and spacious so The Maker’s Son is where we met in the middle. The outside is just so beautiful and green and the indoor area is rustic and modern with its beautiful chandelier and farmhouse tables. I had the most amazing florist and family that helped pull a lot of it together but I know for a fact that Selena and her staff did everything else in between to make our special day perfect! I met with Selena on numerous occasions to get all of the small details sorted out and she did everything and more and exceeded all of my expectations. From helping get the wedding party organized to walk out, to communicating with the DJ and even making sure the venue next door didn’t bully us in to ending our event early! Selena and her staff is definitely who you want on your side, this woman does it all. I even at one point saw her behind the bar helping make drinks. Thank you so much to everyone at The Maker’s Son and especially to Selena! I know our big day only went smoothly because you took the lead!
A nice space to have an event. The outdoor patio and gardens are great spaces.

Love this place! Brunch here was awesome with their bottomless mimosas deal. Didn't have a ton of food options but everyone very much enjoyed their food. Recommend you try the chicken sandwich. Staff is friendly.

We were offered a table outside as they were busy. With a heater it was fine. Great service. We had several sharing plates. Chicken wings were heavenly, as was shrimp and artichoke dip. Delicious apple pie dessert. Tasty food.
Great place !Went with about six people during the summer. They had a perfect large table under a canopy of Old Oak trees. We Especially loved Ahi Poke NachosAnd Shrimp Diablo.

Very disappointing. Really mediocre food and service.I don't generally leave bad reviews but this was so poor and the other reviews are so good I think the paying public deserve to know the truth about the wrong Google reviews. The other reviews (4.9 stars at the time of writing) are for the previous restaurant at this address. There was another restaurant at this address previously called the Station which has since closed down. I ate at the Station on 12 March 2022 and it was good, So seven months ago it was the Station and it was good. Most of the reviews allegedly for Maker's Son are from people who ate there over 7 months ago but then it was the Station and not Maker's Son. So the good reviews are not for Maker's Son but the Station. I don't know when exactly the Station closed and Maker's Son opened but I am sure Maker's Son will let us all know.Obviously Maker's Son have not made any effort to correct this mistake by Google and are misleading the paying public.I did not realise this when I made the reservation.I won't go into details why it was so bad but trust me there are many better placed to eat in the area. In terms of service, it was the kind of place where we did not have a dedicated waiter and only after the food was brought out did they realise we did not have any plates and I needed to remind the guy that cutlery would be good as well. The portions were generous but the food was not great so lots of uneaten food and no desire to take any of it home it was so poor.Avoid unless you like rubbish service and food. Really curious as to how Maker's Son are going to respond to this review.
Really nice resturant. The atmosphere is nice and the food is pretty good.
Food is amazing and the atmosphere is throwing you into the Early 80s with a touch of fancy 21st century...
One of my favorite newer discoveries on The California Central Coast in Los Alamos..@TheMakersSon. An historic location, rich in local history, offers up beautiful craft cocktails, local wines and their chef’s culinary creations are sublime! (That watermelon salad 🥰) Always love our girl chats on life with my beautiful friend @donnapolizzi8 …and this restaurant was the perfect frame and setting! #themakersson @keys2thecoast #LosAlamos #appetizers #craftcocktails #finedining #patiodining #eventspace
