The food is good but, besides the duck, nothing extraordinary and sometimes plain. The duck had no odor and was not overly fatty. The four seasons cold plate was also good. Each piece was unique in style and flavor. I say keep it small and only go for their duck or their special menu section. Everything else didn't seem quite worth the price. The mushrooms in the braised triple mushrooms were of varying quality of freshness. The mu shu was nice with nice wok hei but it didn't...
There's a reason this place has been around for so long. The food is great, and at lunch, it's a surprisingly good bargain (relative to the area). While you could go with the standard Chinese-American dishes, I recommend the seafood.
A staple in Los Altos, this family owned restaurant has been serving the area for decades now.
They have lunch specials that are the favorites, sometimes it's hard to choose what I like to have. Since my office is within walking distance, I will call ahead and pick up, they are quick.
Although a tip, Friday lunches, eat in tends to fill up, so definitely call to make a reservation.
