I heard about this restaurant having good food so I have to see for myself. First of all the waitress was very courteous it made me feel welcome. The inside was authentic and lively. I ordered the mole enchilada, and it was tremendous. I'm definitely going back again.

We were in the area and were looking for a place to have lunch and my wife found this little gem hidding.
Nice and quiet place yo relax while eating. When we sat our waitress brought us chips (which were very crunchy) with two small bowls of salsa, one red which was spicy for me and a green one, which was just right, not that much spicy and a large bottle of chill water. We both tried something different that we've never seen at other restaurants. My wife ordered the Chicken Chile En Nogada (a roasted chile poblano, filled with chicken and vegetables, fruits and nuts. Topped with a cherry wine crema, sprinkled with fresh pomegranate seeds and crushed pecans. Served with rice and nlack beans).
I ordered Cochinita Pibil (a succulent Mayan dish from Yucatán. Pork slowly dried in banana leaves, fresh fruit juices, herbs and achiote, a special indigenous spice blend made from the seed of the annatto tree. Served with rice and black beans.
And our son ordered Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo,(shrimp sautéed in a delicious garlic and butter sauce. Served with rice and fresh house salad (the salad had thin slices of fruit which made the salad taste even better and much different and out of this world).

This was a web order for pick up so the atmosphere is just a snap shot but the restaurant felt warm and friendly. Service and food were excellent.

Excellent margarita! I got the premium with silver herradura! Delicious! Carne asada and great dishes from southern Mexico. The pipian and Oaxaca also fantastic!
Always our favorite mole! We love the variety of regional dishes highlighting different parts of the country. Estrellita has been our go-to Mexican for 30 years, and it’s still owned by the same family.

Excellent food and they took extra care to be cautious about my wife’s severe gluten allergy. We will definitely be eating here again!

The shrimp tequila fajitas special was delicious and my takeout order was ready quickly. The included bag of chips is a nice bonus. I always enjoy my meals here!
