It was good but not great. I have had better pho but I’ve definitely had worse pho. The prices are quite steep ($19-$20 for a large bowl). They are quite generous with noodle and meat portions though. Service is very quick! You pay at the register. I still think you would get more bang for your buck at a local pho place in SJ/Little Saigon and a better meal too.
Pho Vi Hoa feels like one of those rare spots that instantly makes you feel at home. Pho Vi Hoa (PVH) has been around for a while. When I was at Stanford, it served as a comfort food for students when you were done with your midterms or a weekend outing. It was cheap but also filled with warmth. It was affordable but didn't feel like a compromise. I've been coming to PVH from 2005.
