From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. There was no wait at all, which was such a nice surprise! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the service was genuinely great from start to finish.
The vibe was really nice too comfortable, inviting, and just an overall great atmosphere. It made the whole experience even better.

Exceptional upbeat service from the bar to the table. The calamari was best I've had maybe ever! Fun atmosphere.

We been wanting to go for good cioppino for a while now and Rustic House did not disappoint. The service was very good, and they were so accommodating to my elderly parents.

Food and menu is consistently good. Portions are generous. It's our go to dinner spot close to home.

The service is exceptional and the food is very high quality, fish is fresh and perfectly cooked. We've never had a meal here that wasn't fantastic. The wait staff are just wonderful.

I just want to say that Alayna and the entire crew at the Rustic House Oyster Bar & Grill are always very friendly, the food is always delicious and the vibe is great! Whenever friends and family want to go out to eat and say “where should we go?” I always say “Rustic in Los Altos!”
Alayna is a super star, she can take a table with 20+ people and not write anything down and remember even the smallest details. Best server award hands down! (Truly amazing!)

My friend and I had dinner last night at Rustic House Oyster Bar and Grill. We were just walk-ins but did not have to wait at all for a table. We had some baked oysters, rib eye, chicken and a risotto.

The food is very good but Sarah's service was EXCELLENT ! Kudo's to you Sarah ! :)

For dessert, we had the brownie (Sarah's called it...it was delicious) and I had an affrogato (also delicious)

Sorry I did not take any photos. We simply just wanted to enjoy dinner.

Side note. I REALLY love how the restaurant doesn't pressure you into the 18%, 22% or whatever tips. Sarah gave GREAT service and we tipped her well (as it should be ! :)

Would I go there again ? Absolutely ! :)

Normally we love this restaurant and go there often. Unfortunately it was extremely crowded and noisy, which is unusual. They were understaffed. Food took a very long time, over an hour.

Great food, great service. Our waitress Sarah, was very nice and did a great job making us feel welcome and well fed.

Wonderful casual friendly restaurant. Great place to grab a bite on a date or after shopping on Main Street in Los Altos. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

The food was very good. Service was a little slow but it was very busy. We went at 5:00 and it started out somewhat quiet but quickly got very loud.

Service was bifurcated. Had a reservation but the guy who seated us was brusque and seemingly uninterested. Told us we could only sit at a bordering the sidewalk although plenty were free. However, Renee was wonderful and deserving of highest praise. Said to ignore the guy and gave us a much better table off the sidewalk. Good wine list and tiramisu up to standard. RH pasta was strangely subpar. Lacking in flavor due, I believe, to undersalting. I use the word “strangely “ because I've been to RH on multiple occasions over the past few months and have always ordered and enjoyed this dish. Hope this experience was a one off. I don't like or want food that is heavily salted but the effort yesterday was flavorless.
