Sumo is the absolute best. Best sushi, kindest staff. All around love them!

The fish was flavorless and didn’t taste fresh. Shrimp tempura was soggy, and the rice wasn’t proper Japanese sushi rice. The Katsu Curry Don had a very stingy portion of pork (~3oz for a $22.95 bowl). We came here because of decent reviews and the nice location, but the food was far below expectations. Won’t be returning. Possibly the worst sushi restaurant in the peninsula area.

Delicious sushi and the sushi train is a big hit with the kids. The hostess was very nice and fresh and gave us free ice-crean mochi because they had run out of mango ice cream that we had originally ordered. Will go back there again soon.

Our family has been to Sumo many times because it's a family favorite. Our kids love the kids meals (rice, miso soup, and salmon or chicken teriyaki) and the sushi train, where we usually pick a few rolls and mochi for dessert. We love the variety of the menu and freshness of the food most of the time. Depending on the day, the texture of the rice can be improved and sometimes the offerings on the sushi train are limited, but the excellent service more than makes up for it. The restaurant is full of regulars that the staff remembers. A few favorites from the menu include the tempura ramen, all of the rolls, the agedashi tofu and the mochi ice cream. Highly recommended as a family friendly establishment that serves above average food, a quiet and fun ambiance, and great service.

Good quality food with a little high price. Shushi is fresh and soft.

Staff is friendly but the sushi is absolutely disgusting. Even the wasabi is fake and has no flavor.

It was Ok. Thin slices of fish on th sushi. Not a big selection on th boats, but u can order off th menu. I ordered th eel don, which didn't hv too much teriyaki sauce (a good thing) n a good size piece of eel but not enough rice (for me, at least).

Vegetarian options: Sushi is vegetarian...... no?

Kid-friendliness: Kids love u th sushi on a boat

The sushi available on train was not very fresh and comparatively expensive, but of course kids love snatching plates from fast moving train.

The custom ordered sushi from the menu was much better and well plated.

We came here and were immediately greeted and treated very nicely.

The train with sushi was a nice gimmick, very fun and creative.

The food was really nice! Fish was nice and flavorful, rice was also nice! Just overall high quality and worth the price.

The service staff were polite and helpful

The owner was incredibly welcoming and fun to talk with!

Overall a really fun dining experience.
