The food was delicious and the service was great. Topping off the evening by enjoying the Blackberry Ricotta Cheesecake which thoroughly satisfied the sweet tooth.

Do not waste your money here. They have no cocktail menu, service is beyond slow and the fried ravioli is frozen, the crabcakes smell like cat food, look like fried Subway tuna fish and taste vile.....also frozen. How do i know they are frozen? Besides having functioning taste buds?I asked. I was told they "Have to freeze them or when they cook them the breading wouldnt stick" Ugh. The grilled shrimp cocktail was rubbery and the cocktail sauce might as well have been ketchup. It comes with an Avocado mash that has no seasoning or discernable ingredients besides lemon juice. Also an entire head of soggy burnt romaine lettuce comes with it. But you will get charged LA prices. Pathetic.

Upon arrival we were told that the restaurant wasn't booking until May. I don't understand how I was able to book for Feb 10. A heads up would have been nice. I was excited to try Checkers and felt a little bummed out since I had to change plans.

The service was fine but the drinks at the bar weren't very good. I ordered an old fashion but it was just liquor and ice.

We had a party of 4 for my fiancés birthday dinner. The staff went above and beyond for our party! They were so kind, the food was amazing and the service was great! They truly made it a night to remember! We will definitely be back.

I've stayed at the Checkers Hilton a few times, and so far I've had the DTLA wings, chicken panini, and the checkers burger at the 1927 Bar+Kitchen. The burger was bland and unimpressive; the wings were small and mediocre tasting; the chicken panini was decent, and I would have it again. I sat at the bar during my first two visits and at one of the high tops in the dining room adjacent to the bar area at another visit. All three times, the service ranged from below average to poor (with the dining room experience being the worst) regardless of how busy they were.

Was not open and the staff has no idea that a reservation was made. PLEASE remove from the Open Table system for reservations. This was very confusing and I had to scramble to get another reservation last minute on a Saturday evening.

Probably the nicest people that served me and my Valentine's date. the food was too good to be true! Everything was just amazing and definitely worth it thank you all so much! And the view was perfect! The staff was so nice and made sure we got everything we needed! unlimited champagne was great! I'll never forget that night thanks again.

We reserved outdoor seating. When we arrived, we were told the outdoor patio has been closed for two months. No one in the restaurant had any clue we had a reservation and the menu is only bar food. We went elsewhere.

The food is chill but let's face it you are here for this view! This is one underrated rooftop bar here! It's an outside open air rooftop but where the angle sits in relation to DTLA it's very close, you're really in the middle of the action here. I love coming up here when I can. I would love to see them do a brunch menu soon because I would definitely be here in a heartbeat. Check this rooftop out, it's stunning.

Opentable confirmed my reservations three times, and when we arrived for our reservation, the restaurant was closed. Checkers blamed it all on Opentable. Who ever was at fault it was an awful experience to arrive and find out it was closed.

We had reservations in a Saturday night for roof top restaurant at 6:30 pm. We arrived and they announced the restaurant was closed. They had not attempted to call us, text us or email us even though they had 3 points of contact information. It was very disappointing. We ended up going to perch for a dinner at their bar. As always, perch was great but not being out on the roof top was not the ambiance we had hoped for.

I made a reservation at 5:15 pm on May 8, 2021 on here and confirmed it. When I arrived, I was notified by the hotel that it was cancelled. They said Round table app was supposed to notified me but it didn't. Because I made reservation with the third party (round table), there is nothing they can do. However, they can accommodate for a 7:00 pm appointment. It took me an hour and half to drive there, I decided to stay. Again, on this app it shows the Checkers restaurant but in the reality Checkers has been closed for a year due to pandemic. They open the roof top only for few appetizers and drinks menu. The waiter was extremely nice but he was the only serving for the whole rooftop around 5 tables. I would like to hear from Round Table an explanation about my reservation and faulty market the restaurant.

I made reservations for a Friday night, drove all the way from Ontario to downtown LA to find out they closed due to weather. I was so upset because my little sister just turned 21 and She came to visit from Colorado. The restaurant did not call me and if they did they should have left me a Voicemail I wasted my Friday night driving to and from Ontario and Downtown, LA.
