I had to go one last time before the restaurant closed. It was nice to visit. Excellent customer service. Amazing food and drinks. It was one of the more pricey, trendy places to eat. Quality was always on point. I usually went for the happy hour. I will miss it dearly.

Had a brunch moment with some old friends celebrating birthdays. Mimosas were delicious. Really enjoyed the moco loco with the fried egg on top. A+

Food was soooo good! The staff was friendly and accommodating. We got there later in the evening and they allowed us to enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed.

A frame is one of those little gems you come across.the menu and staff were great and between me and three other friends we all enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the dessert. The street corn they had took me back to when they actually did the corn on the cobb... Now they just shave off the corn and put it all in a bowl so it was good to have that again. The chicken was amazing and the thin crisp on the skin was delicious matched up up with the sauces. You can't go wrong with any of the desserts ... So just know that. Service- was great friendly and great about making suggestions. They were great about refills and just having good conversation. Food- was awesome between 4 of us we kinda shared things and enjoyed them all!! Atmosphere- the place is small, they make for some space on the balcony area but I could imagine the wait getting long. Either way plan ahead get there sooner to avoid fun parking adventures. Overall super happy with the A frame

Came here after seeing the pancakes featured in the Brunch episode of Worth It. Place was packed at 1 on a Sunday. We got seated at a community type table where there were two more open spots. Another lady came and joined us halfway through our meal. The seating was kind of tight so when she came it was kind of awkward. I started with the fried chicken pancake. It was good, nothing special. Then I got the pineapple, orange and guava jam one and that was nice and different. The macadamia and banana was also pretty good. My wife tried the lilikoi and it was kind of bitter. Overall not that impressed but we left full for sure. Won't come back for the pancakes but would like to try the other Hawaiian entree items at some point. 17 dollar endless mimosas and bloody Mary's were good. Mimosas were strong and they kept them coming at a pretty good pace.

This place was really good. Apparently you need a reservation on Sunday mornings there and we just stumbled in on our way home from the beach. The food was great. I had a breakfast sandwich and my husband had the big breakfast plate. Our was a Hawaiian fusion style restaurant and it was wonderful.

I have only been for brunch but my god is it a good one. Dangerous mimosas and amazing food. I have never been disappointed here.

I wanted to like it more but it is honestly just okay. Just did the all you can eat pancakes and had each one. Not really worth it you aren't maximizing how much you eat. The best ones were the banana and the red bean pancakes. Everything else was just okay.

Very much lived up to its height. Had the all you can eat (AYCE) pancakes and was pleasantly surprised. One that I didn't necessarily think I would like (i.e. the red bean one and the pineapple, orange, guava one) were great. Unique flavors that worked well throughout. Our server was also very nice and quick and on a beautiful day in LA what's better than eating copious amounts of pancakes outside? Nothing.

I've visited a frame several times for brunch and it has yet to disappoint. The best part of the brunch menu is the all you can eat pancakes or the all you can drink. Combine both of those with a 2 hour limit and you have yourself an awesome brunch experience. You have several options for the all you can eat pancakes and have to stick to one style the whole brunch. Buttermilk chicken is the way to go, each serving includes 2 stacks of buttermilk pancakes topped off with a piece of fried chicken. Aside from the pancakes, I've had their shrimp burger and beer can chicken. The beer can chicken is delicious and my second favorite after the pancakes. For the all you can drink, you can mix and match between mimosa, michelada, and bloody marry. Service here has consistently been good. The servers make sure to constantly bring your pancakes out and keep your mimosas coming. The bartender Dan is great. After finishing up with our brunch, we decided we wanted to order one more round at the bar. We finished our drinks and Dan noticed we were still waiting for our Lyft. Dan was nice enough to bring some fried chicken for us to make sure we made it to our next destination, thanks Dan! Note: Don't sit outside on a sunny day. It gets hot and there's almost no shade out there.

We came for dinner, excited about another Roy Choi establishment, after having Kogi for lunch that day. Overall, disappointing. We ordered: Pork Fried Rice ($15), Spam & Kimchi Ramen with Beer Can Chicken ($15), Loco Moco ($17), and Spam Musubi ($5). The highlight was probably the Pork Fried Rice and even that was just solidly above average. The ramen was fine - noodles were chewy, broth was subpar, ingredients too fusion. The loco moco was also lackluster. I think the shocking thing is that everything we ordered is like mac and cheese or pasta where it's difficult for it to be bad. And everything we had was pretty solidly average or below average, which was very disappointing. Ambiance is nice. The space is pretty small so I'd recommend getting a reservation. There also are only a handful of parking spots, so you may need to street park.

Food is delicious, drinks are great, and service staff are friendly. However the dining experience was unpleasant for several reasons: 1, There were a lot of communal tables, which are fine. However the waiter seated us next to a couple who took up more than half of the table, and the awkward table legs made it nearly impossible to sit around. I am a size 0 female and I could not find a comfortable way to work around those table legs. 2, The indoor dining area was extremely noisy. Everyone was shouting because that's the only way to be heard. 3, we asked to be seated outside but found the outdoor patio extremely dirty and urgently needed maintenance. The tables were cracked and wabbling. Gum under the table. Tiny spiders crawling around the seats. The large wooden door connecting the patio and indoors was a hazard to both servers and customers. During our short visit we witnessed a customer nearly knocked over by a server, and another server nearly knocked over by a customer. 4, took us over 15 minutes to get our drinks, and when we got our food we noticed our table was missing utensils.

I was really hoping the Sunday All You Can Eat Chicken Dinner would be good ($24/person), but it wasn't! Food: The starter salad was a big and looked great, but it was bland. The hot foods came out quickly, but the beer can chicken was terribly dry. (The table next to ours even asked the server what that piece was and specifically asked them not to bring any more of it.) I really liked the mochiko chicken, which tasted like small chicken tenders. My friends liked the Korean wings, which had good flavor but weren't crispy like true Korean wings. The fries were really good and the sauces were great! It's so disappointing that the mains were so mediocre. Service: The service was good, and I liked how they brought out rounds of small plates of chicken/hot sides refills to ensure freshness. These stars are for the sauces, fries, and 1/3 of the chicken. I'm really hoping they improve, because it's currently not worth it. I'm still working on trying the rest of the menu and at hoping they do live up to the great reviews.

One liner - Worth It. Date visited - 10/20/19 Server: Danielo Mood going in... Excited - Saw this place win the brunch episode of "Worth It", so I was hyped. Reasons to go... 1. Unlimited pancakes and fried chicken. Try the red bean pancakes; they were an absolutely delight. A great spin on doriyaki. Ask for fried chicken without the pancakes if you don't want the extra carbs :D. 2. Some of the best hawaiian fusion in town. Their loco moco was awesome and the hamburger had these perfectly crisp edges. 3. Danielo was an excellent server and notified us that we can get fried chicken without the pancakes and even got us extra togo. Loved him! Reasons not to go... 1. You are on keto; because you gotta try these pancakes. Three takeaways/tips... 1. Get just the fried chicken togo if you get the unlimited brunch pancakes. 2. Squeeze the lemon on your fried chicken; it tastes worlds more amazing 3. Try to get Danielo as a server; he shares all the hacks!
