Me and a friend tried this place back in February. It was our first time trying African Cuisine. I had the Egusi soup with Chicken and she had the jollof rice with goat meat and the Esiro soup. Although the egusi soup wasn't spicy it was still decent- I didn't like the chicken in it - the chicken was bland and lacked any taste - it didn't soak up any flavors in the soup. The next time I will try it with smoked turkey if the offer it and see if a little spice could...
Absolutely amazing food. You should disregard any complaints about the timing here because it's explicitly stated all around the restaurant.The food was well worth the wait.The food taste authentic and prepared with love and experience. The meals are prepared to order, so that guarantees freshness. I will be back!
I love this place. Its in kind of an unassuming strip mall which is a little hard to find, but that's no matter for me. The red stew and plantains are our favorites and as a husband to a West African woman, this is as close to mom's cooking we have found.
