Al Dente, is an authentic Italian pasta restaurant. The food is deliciously prepared by the owner Chef Luigi Fineo, pasta has exceptional flavors, perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is a hidden gem with incredible pasta dishes that will leave you wanting more. If you are looking for a truly delicious and memorable Italian pasta, this is the place to go.
Al Dente is one of those small neighborhood spots where the food feels much more ambitious than the space. The pasta is all handmade, and you can genuinely taste the difference in both quality and flavor. AL DENTE · Pasta Shop is a small neighborhood spot where the food feels much more ambitious than the space. The pasta is all handmade, and the difference in quality and flavor is easy to taste. The noodles have a fresh, slightly chewy texture, and everything tastes carefully made rather than mass produced. The bolognese is spectacular: deep, rich, meaty, and comforting without feeling overwhelmingly heavy. The chopped salad is a generous portion and packed with flavor. The tiramisu is very good: creamy, balanced, and a great finish. The Maccheroncini – Eggplant features homemade pasta cooked to a perfect al dente, with a tomato sauce with depth and freshness, grilled eggplant, and salted ricotta. The Tagliatelle – The Butcher has a Wagyu beef bolognese sauce that is remarkably savory. The Bucatini Carbonara has a nice texture, though the sauce can be a tad too oily. The Cavatelli, potato focaccia bread, and sfogliatella are also mentioned. The interior is tiny, so it can feel hectic and cramped, but the service is amazing, friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient. There is limited seating indoors and outdoors, and takeout is popular.
