Wow. Very nice place. Very cool old cinema posters decorating the place. Great at seat service. Bottomless popcorn was very nice, but 2 bowls was a challenge. ? Nice recliner seats. If you are from the UK very similar to the Everyman Cinema chain. Would visit again.
Best location outside of Texas. So glad they’re here.
Pretty cozy place. But coaches are old and ragged
This is a great place if you want to watch a movie with people who also enjoy the movie going experience. They take their no talking rule seriously. A tad pricey when it comes to the the tickets and the food, but if you are considering this place you already know that. Their is a bar with a wide selection beer and some specialty drinks, a good place to chill, while your waiting for your movie to start.
Tip: grab your tickets early- LIKE EARLY. the seats fill up quickly especially if it's a newly released movie.
The theatre is great, reasonable prices and had a good experience. The only annoying thing is that they don’t take contactless so remember to being your physical card or cash.
Love the vibe all the memorabilia and posters are rad. The avocado toast is a great movie snack.
I love Alamo Drafthouse! Every week I visit and the service level is excellent!
One of my favorite movie theatres.
The vibe of the place is amazing. Staff is always great when I'm there. Love the reclined seats and on demand food. Bathrooms are always clean and isolated, which I love, especially for a co-ed bathroom. Haven't had a problem except for some late food one time but they compensated with free popcorn so can't complain really.
This cinema has food and drinks available to eat and drink whilst you watch movies.
It’s good but quite expensive.

I like this place!
Let me tell you, this place changed the way I do movies. This is an experience - unlimited arcade, bar, dvd's galore, dine-in theatre, unlimited popcorn (WITH THE CLARIFIED BUTTER) and soda, QUALITY SOUND, FRIENDLY STAFF!l and A 1 TIME CELL PHONE WARNING POLICY.
What more do you want?!
Get into this theatre - YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
Great aesthetic. That's about it. The theatre's big sell, the full experience of ordering drinks or food while watching the movie, is never a guarantee.
I've visited the Alamo Drafthouse DTLA a total of 4 times, 2 of which I never received the initial drinks ordered. This last time, I brought my mom who's visiting out of the country; we arrived 30 minutes early as the website suggests, and placed a simple drink order for a Margarita and an Espresso Martini from the menu. At the time of the credits rolling, we'd never got them. I waited for the attendant who initially took the order, informed him we never received it, and asked to make sure we didn't get charged. His response? "Oh, I never put it in so you guys are good." Not even a "sorry". He then turned his back on us and proceeded to talk and laugh with another employee about something unrelated and profanity-ridden. Mind you, I don't care about profanity in the workplace or professionalism, except when you've made me and someone who is important to me and whom I don't get to see often feel like overlooked idiots without so much as an apology for your mistake.
Because this has happened to me 50% of the time (once with a side of disrespect), I've come to realize that this has to be a common occurrence in this theatre. They've lost me as a customer, but if I can forewarn other moviegoers of what to expect, maybe you don't have to be writing your own disappointing review in the future.
Best of luck with your Alamo Drafthouse experience!
EDIT: To management's credit, they were responsive and showed genuine concern for the issue, claiming it to have been addressed.
I had a wonderful experience here great food and customer service .
