During our visit to the city, we tried this popular cafe, but it didn't quite meet our expectations.

The Matcha Latte felt a bit diluted, and we found the pricing to be on the higher side. The bacon scone was okay, although it, too, was priced rather steeply for the quality and the size. The ambiance of the place was pleasant—comfortable and clean.

However, we felt that the service could be improved. As first-time visitors, we had a few questions, but the staff member kept informing us that he would call our names when our drinks were ready instead of answering. I had read several reviews mentioning friendly staff, so perhaps this staff member was having an off day. Overall, there is room for improvement.

Food: 8.1/10 (got the croissant: super fresh and crispy)
Service: 7.5/10 (not chatty but still nice)
Atmosphere: 7.5/10 (Productive, plenty of tables and places to sit. It can be loud sometimes)
Coffee: 7.8/10 (really nice, good coffee experience)

Super fun spot. Productive environment, but it can be loud at times. The staff were nice enough, but they didn't seem very chatty; could be a plus or minus. The coffee came out quickly. Love that they have a "for here" option where they give you a mug. Less single use products and better coffee drinking experience. The croissant was surprisingly fresh and crispy. My latte (regular milk) was VERY clean and had a nice lightness with it, which is rare for a latte in my opinion. I would recommend!

I’d eat elsewhere but respect to the baristas for their latte art.

I love Alchemist coffee and their pastries. I usually go to the location on Hobart & Wilshire. Today I decided to got to the location on Vermont and Im sad to say that the service at this location was horrible . It was pretty crowded when I first walked in. I stood in line and when it was my turn the guy at the register didn’t acknowledge me, instead he attempted to help someone else who came in after me. After I initiated that I was next in line, he took my order. I then stepped to the side and waited patiently for them to call my name . They made everyone’s order before mine (even the people who came in after me). As I mentioned it was crowded when I first walked in and by the time they called my name, I was the only one left waiting for my order. I would recommend the Hobart Location over this one.

The Kimchi Avocado Toast was excellent. Very flavorful and portion was generous. Lattes are well made and delicious. The employees are kind and helpful. Great place to get a bit of work done. Valet parking only in the lot in front of the cafe.

It’s always busy and crowded whenever I come here. The latte is a little overpriced ($6!!) for beans that didn’t taste fresh and were slightly burnt. They also don’t do loyalty stamps anymore for returning customers.

Favorite new coffee spot in LA when I visit. Love the New Orleans cold brew and Misaragu Latte with black sesame.

The only reason I am giving it a bad review is because their sandwiches are too expensive. 15.00 for a small sandwich and a side salad. The coffee is a normal coffee claimed to be something else it tasted like instant coffee. We order 3 sandwiches, 3 coffees, and we paid 70.00+. Go to any other restaurant. I think even Starbucks would have been better.

Found parking surprisingly pretty fast.
I enjoyed a refreshing Iced Organic Peach Peony Tea, rating it 10/10. My companion ordered a cheesecake, which I sampled and rated 9/10 for its delicious, subtly sweet flavor. She also had a Tiramisu Latte, giving it a 10/10 rating. The establishment offers ample space for studying and working.
