LEE GA 이가 is a highly regarded Korean restaurant in LA, known for its authentic and carefully prepared dishes that stay true to Korea. The food is served as it is in Korea, with dishes like gukbap, naengmyun, and kimchi. The gukbap is rich, comforting, and full of deep flavor, making it a standout, while the naengmyun, especially the naengmyun and Jengban naengmyun with spicy raw skate wing, are considered some of the best in LA. The restaurant offers generous lunch specials at fair prices, with high-quality ingredients and fresh-tasting meals. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, suitable for casual dining and comforting meals any time of day. The side dishes include kimchi subtly infused with shrimp paste, pickled radish, and crunchy cucumber with soybean paste, complementing the main dishes well. Service is friendly and attentive, with staff going out of their way to provide extra napkins and refills. Parking can be challenging during busy times, but valet parking helps. Overall, Lee Ga 이가 is a true local gem that leaves a lasting impression through authentic, comforting, and well-made Korean food.
