Outstanding quality and fair prices.
Great cafe in DTLA . The service was excellent. The food was amazing.
This spot is one of the few food places inside Pedro Food Mart, located on the top floor — and honestly, it’s the best one there! The restaurant is run by a wonderful Hispanic lady who’s always smiling, kind, and ready to take your order. She even checks in to make sure everything’s good while you’re eating, which really makes you feel welcome.

Ale's Restaurant is one of the few food places inside Pedro Food Mart, located on the top floor, and it is the best one there. The restaurant is run by a wonderful Hispanic lady who is always smiling, kind, and ready to take your order. She even checks in to make sure everything is good while you are eating, which really makes you feel welcome.
The shrimp burrito is amazing and easily one of the tastiest burritos in a long time. The fries are perfectly cooked too — crispy, golden, and lightly salted. The California Wrap comes with romaine, grilled chicken, mozzarella cheese, tomato, cucumber, honey mustard and mayo, and a side of fries. The wrap is good and stuffed, and the veggies are fresh and crisp. The sauce with the honey mustard and mayo works well together. The fries are fries, nothing special.
The place is clean, the tables are well-kept, and the setup is open and inviting. This place is good and reminds of another nearby place called the J Smart Cafe, with similar items priced about the same. It is recommended to someone not wanting to spend a lot of money on lunch if they are nearby and want something good. There are multiple other options as well. If visiting the building for shopping, business, or at one of the boutiques, this is definitely the spot to grab a bite.
