The food is really good! The cream pasta & carne asada bowl are good from what I tried, and their bakery selection is delicious and unique too!! I find it funny that their Mexican menu is called South of the Border haha. Only thing is that the layout is a little awkward for the cafe/bakery vibe but it doesnt entirely cross into resteraunt-style either.
Let’s start with the positives. The service is fast and friendly. The food (or at least the breakfast burrito) is BAD the eggs are way overcooked and dry the sausage is real gross and grey. The potatoes are just soggy fries. I think what hurts the most is they’re charging more than places that serve legit breakfast burritos.
I’m here early in the AM . You can say 7ish am. I ordered what is 2 eggs 2 turkey sausages and a 1/2 a french toast (description on menu). It’s really one whole slice of bread cut in half. When I asked the waitress what was half a French toast she showed me a picture of what I would be . The French toast looked small. But it looks okay for a breakfast . Well when I recieved my plate the French toast looked like big . I think is brioche bread… not sure . Anyways it came with...
