had a super nice and sweet waiter who helped us find some vegetarian options: the vegetarian tempura roll was so so good, super creamy sweet potato and perfectly rolled. the vegetarian gyoza was also very good, the green beans were a bit too sweet and overall unflavored for my liking but the tempura roll was so good it made up for that!
The food is pretty good but not best, which is understandable because it’s one of the cheaper sushi places around since they have to keep costs low for the student and nurse population.

Anyway, I visit sometimes because I love Japanese food and my niece attends UCLA. There is this one server girl that’s always there when I go named Iris. She’s provided excellent service each time we go, and knows the menu very well, commendably enough to help us out on...
This restaurant is a little gem in Westwood Village. The portion sizes are substantial, fish is fresh and delicious and surprisingly the price was really reasonable. My husband and I ordered 6 pieces of nigiri, a large roll 6 pieces of crispy rice nigiri, and crudo & it was more than enough food and the bill was $88. I will definitely come back.
