After having received a flyer from The Angry Chicken and watching the transformation of the building, I decided to give the place a try. "#1 - Popcorn Chicken, Spicy." In my book, if they can't get chicken right, then there's no hope. Staff was helpful and welcoming, especially when I told the cashier it was my first visit. She explained the flavor choices and combos vs bowls. Service was quick and my combo was hot and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portion of popcorn chicken and the spicy Korean sauce was on point! They had a nice selection

Angry Chicken is serving up some very taste plates, I have tired both the garlic shrimp a spicy pork equally delicious the plate lunch's cost $8.00 with includes a soft drink , the plate is cooked to order, includes the meal, rice, coleslaw, and corn.

Been here a number of times and they consistently deliver on the food. Fresh, well prepared, and a good value. WHEN THEY ARE OPEN. Like many other restaurants profiled on Yelp in the pandemic days, the announced hours are not correct. Their current hours are very limited. I found out the hard way by driving there, guided by the Yelp hours only to find it closed on a weekday afternoon at 4. A hard to read hand written sign on the door said 11-2, not sure if that is correct. So beware.

I got the chicken sandwich and it was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. The staff is friendly and the food is great. Meat is super juicy and tender and sauce works perfectly with sandwich. Also, it is a really good price.

The food is is great. The tempura fries were the perfect French fry. Light and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The wings were very good and well seasoned. The food comes out piping hot and the staff are very friendly.

Everyone here comes for the Dry Fried Chicken. Think of Korean fried chicken but Chinese style. The sauce is super sticky, probably from a reduced down combination of soy sauce, chilis, and sugar. SUPER addicting sauce. I found myself scooping up leftover sauce and eating it with white rice. Perfect mix of spicy, salty, and sweet. Very crispy and lightly battered wings as well.

San Tung has become a SF staple that even tourists of the city are familiar with. I was super excited to finally try this SF trademark, expecting mediocre food and more of a hype. However, to my surprise, I actually really enjoyed the experience here!

PHENOMENAL chicken wings.... the best you will have anywhere. Buffalo, BBQ, Teriyaki, all that... nope. These are greatness. For a restaurant in one of the 4 Chinatowns of SF (yes, there's more than Grant St, and way better), it's outstanding quality. Black Bean Noodles w/ Seafood is the perfect complement to the spicy sweet wings. And get the dumplings too.

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the sf area! If you love wings as much as I do, you have got to try these. It is more of an Asian style of wings compared to a wing stop or some southern fried chicken so expect some different flavors. However the chicken has great flavors and is very crispy and comes as wings or diced! One of the best places in sf for sure!
