Ariyoshi Sushi Cafe Izakaya

The sushi was really bad. It was tasteless and didn’t match the description on DoorDash. $15 for a roll that was supposed to be spicy crab inside with salmon on top. The crab inside was tasteless normal imitation crab meat (not spicy) and the salmon on top tasted strange. The rice tasted unseasoned and looked a mess. I couldn’t finish the food.

I asked for a lobster roll and they used crawlfish! I asked for a baked salmon roll and specifically ask can I get REAL CRAB? The waiter guy said yes, and brings me imitation crab meat. I didn't eat and after a debate he only took half off of that salmon roll. Will never eat here again.

Great food for a great price, and the the happy hour time frame is very generous. Good options for the sushi roles and the chef choice sushi was great!

The food was mediocre, the sushi didn't really taste fresh! I honestly think store bought sushi tastes better and is fresher. My boyfriend's vegetable tempura was good, and his beef teriyaki was okay.

We waited about 50 minutes before getting our food. Pretty sure this is a staffing issue, there was only three people working the entire place.

The happy hour deals were pretty much normal price.

Two stars because the staff were trying their best. Wanted to love this place because it's in my community , but I won't be coming back!

I was looking for a sushi place open a little late and this was exactly what I was looking for. Not too busy so great and quick service. Cute little vibe and a nice bar, for a night of sake and sushi. I ordered The Cajun Seared Tuna Roll, Crunch Dragon Roll and Fire Salmon Roll. I love all three and do recommend you try them. Me and my dates favorite would have to be the crunchy dragon roll

There was only one employee/ chef he did amazing out food was ready within 10 min of ordering and we got the crispy rice spicy tuna roll, cherry blossom, sashimi albacore and crispy rice and another delicious roll and it taste amazing I would go again and again.

Wow, such a great place! The food is incredible! The service is so nice and friendly. I especially love that their vegetarian selection is so exceptional! I just moved to the neighborhood and I plan on making this my number one sushi stop! I highly recommend this awesome restaurant!

I went here today because I used to live in the area and ordered from this restaurant all the time because it used to be so good. But today, the sushi smelled like chlorine and was literally inedible. Not only did I not finish it but I barely touched my food. The restaurant still charged me for the food when I told them that I couldn’t eat it and that it tasted and smelled horrible. I don’t recommend this place anymore at all!

Listen, you don't come to Ariyoshi for quick service or a great atmosphere. You come for the insane happy hour deals and the incredible quality of fish at great prices. Seriously, they have some of the best yellowtail nigiri I've ever had. The Maryland crab roll is heavenly. The sake and pitcher for $20 is a steal. Their fish is so fresh and so well prepared, you forgive the slow service. A hidden gem.
