I visited this place with my daughter two years ago, and everything went really well—the service and food were excellent. I even had a great conversation with the owner, who had an amazing personality.
Today, I returned for breakfast with my 6-year-old daughter, and unfortunately, it was a drastically different experience. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, and I truly respect the service industry, so I usually let small things slide. However, the breakfast potatoes came out cold and soggy, and the omelet was both small and cold as well.
The service was not attentive. Basic items like salt, pepper, and sugar for the coffee weren’t brought out until halfway through the meal. I had to ask for a coffee refill—otherwise, it wouldn’t have happened.
I ordered an apple juice for my daughter, and it was served warm, without ice. Serving sparkling warm apple juice during the summer just didn’t make sense to me.
I’m a laid-back, drama-free person, so I didn’t make a fuss at the time. I don’t want to play the race card, but the overall vibe felt off. As a biracial man, I’ve experienced this kind of energy before, sadly. There was also a young Black couple sitting next to us who were about to order but decided to leave—They mentioned to me they sensed something off too.
This review isn't to get anyone in trouble—just honest feedback in the hope that things improve for future guests. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, which is disappointing because I really expected more from a place I once enjoyed so much.

Ordered chilaquiles, attitude combo with waffle, side of breakfast potatoes and fries. Everything was good with one exception Chilaquiles - tortillas chips looked and tasted as if they were fried in house, sauce was good and presentation was amazing. Breakfast potatoes - cooked with onion and red bell pepper, crispy and soft. Fries were fries. Attitude combo - simple eggs side of protein and waffle every thing was good waffle was crispy and soft on the inside. EXCEPT the bacon. It was either old, expired or just bad. Color of bacon was pale and tasted bad. Would consider eating here again. But not my first choice.
Such a wonderful way to start the day! I got the blueberry pancakes and my husband got the blueberry French toast. The portions were great, especially the pancakes. It was so delicious, my husband said it was the best French toast he'd ever had. Highly recommend!!

I was surprised how empty the place was given how good the food and service were. My daughter and I split the chilaquiles and shakshuka to visit two countries at once, and both were very good. The shakshuka had a hint of cinnamon. The chilaquiles could’ve been a bit spicier. Drip coffee was very good, too. Will definitely go back.

Everything was perfect. As soon as we sat down, we were immediately given cold water in a bottle, which we haven’t experienced anywhere else. The coffee was also very delicious (latte and cappuccino), and the dishes were really tasty. The service was truly friendly and fast. As guests of Park Plaza Lodge, we received a 15% discount. There are plenty of seating options, both indoors and outdoors, and many plants that create a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.
