Baba Kebab (HALAL FOOD) serves the most authentic Mediterranean food in Los Angeles, with sauces that are fantastically spicy, fresh tomatoes, and tender meat. The kebabs are amazing, described as the best in the city, hardwood smoked fresh and only put on the order when made. The meat is incredibly fresh, tender, juicy, and soft, with authentic Turkish flavor cooked over real charcoal for a perfect smoky taste. Great Ayran is also available.
It’s a truck, so the ambience is the street, but the people watching and vibe around here is awesome. The Shish Kebap comes as a very hearty, filled to the brim, dürüm (a wrap) filled with veggies and beef. The beef is tender, marinated to near perfection and juicy, with finely chopped vegetables that complement the beef well. Each dürüm is like a pound worth of food, big enough for two portions if cut in half. Even though they're 18 dollars, the quality is excellent, restaurant-level quality from a street food truck. Service was great, even if a bit slow, but understandable due to how well made everything is. Highly recommended.
