My husband and I had a wonderful experience here tonight while quietly celebrating my husband's birthday. The entire staff was awesome. The very friendly host, Yannick, greeted us and offered free glasses of Prosecco while we waited for our table, a very nice FREE gesture they offer to all guests, apparently. Then there was our absolutely outstanding server Ruby. Not only was she attentive, but so genuine as she engaged us in delightful conversation, even offering to grab my reading glasses which I forgot in the car, I kid you not. This is, easily, the most above and beyond I've ever experienced with a server. The food and drinks were delicious and the ambiance charming (we sat in the garden patio). The entire experience could not have been better. We highly recommend Bacari in Silverlake. And I hope if you do go, you are as lucky as we were to get Ruby as your server. I just want to add, I am not someone who typically writes reviews, posts on social media, etc. I am only posting this because of how wonderful our experience was and Ruby was a big part of that. She deserves every bit of this praise. And no, I am not a friend or relative of hers. We truly only know her from this experience.

The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our server was excellent, attentive, and so lovely. To drag Shout out too to all the excellent food and drink runners as well. I am so glad I found this another gem restaurant in town.

Love this place! Food is so delicious. And they moved our favorite server from the Glendale location to the Silver Lake location so now it gives us even more reasons to come back! His service last night was on point. Always a pleasure coming to Bacari!

This day and age is filled with brokies begging to get hired at a job that pays 18 an hour and gives them Bio 10B type of terrible hours per week, forcing them to listen to their cuck boss every second of the day. Literally sounds like the worst life. I would personally rather take a trip to Nicaragua and permanently relocate there than deal with that nonsense. Anyways, my beautiful fiancé and I were driving and thought about spending some money and landed upon this place. The food was actually amazing. That's it, that's all I have to say about it. The truffle fries were crispier than Lannan's intelligence and were as aesthetically pleasurable as the costume he wore 2022 during Halloween. Picture this. I stroll into Bacari and BOOM, the ambiance hits me. I feel a wave of nostalgia. I begin to reminisce about the good old days. The days my BMI was SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER. The days PRIOR TO ROYAL PALACE'S CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. The days where Farris slapped up the whole class with an exam that made you go home and think "I can apply to pharmacy school at least" (AHAH). Food here makes people question things. It makes a finance major question why they ever majored in finance when they could've studied something actually useful AND HIGH PAYING. I know my boy Tanner would low key love this place, so we need to hit up together man! To put it simply : the food here at bacari is so mind-bendingly, mouth wateringly, mind BOGGLINGLY delicious that it made me consider auditioning for a role as a guest tap dancing piece of medium rare steak in a steak-themed Broadway musical. Come here you won't regret that shit. Remember if yo girl doesn't love you It's clear AS DAY WITH BACARI'S FLAVORS SO SUCCULENT AND WILD SHE'll trade you for this gourmet meal any DAY

It's important to acknowledge the enormous effort that the management team provided in making sure that they took action after my review. It was quite impressive and unexpected. Thank you for a fabulous and memorable experience at your other location on 3rd.

I have eaten here at least thirty times by now. It's truly one of my favorite spots, if not my all time favorite. The ambiance, the staff, the food, everything about this place is 10/10. I've been so many times that I've seen perfect nights and not so perfect nights. Even on the not so perfect nights the staff is super friendly and attentive and do their best to make your visit a great one. You won't regret dining at Bacari specifically the silver lake location.

Went there last month for a night out, very nice ambient at night with all the lights hanging on the trees. Little dark if you seat in the garden area but it makes it feel cozy at the same time. Food and service were very quick and everything tasted good out of their menu. Would return it another time

It's your typical LA "this is great for pics but if you're here for food, then move along" 5/5 ambiance: it's really cute in here. This is where owners put all their attention cuz it feels like walking into a jungle, maybe think Indiana Jones at Disney, but elevated. BUT I will say, the tables are squished together so tightly that even the servers have to go longer routes to maneuver to some tables (and also you'll get the occasional servers ass hovering over your food while they attempt to help the table next to yours but nbd, they're doing their best) 1/5 food: our favorite thing we ordered was the burrata. Do you know how sad it is that out of the 5 dishes we ordered, our favorite is the most simple dish, cheese, tomato, & basil thrown together with some bread? 4/5 employees: their service is pretty good, it just gets busy and then impossible to flag them down or sometimes for them to reach you(due to cramped tables), we had to mime/speak loudly over other customers because we didn't want to make them come over just to ask for more water 3/5 drinks: I've had really good mezcal cocktails before, these were not them. My friend and I both ordered the two mezcal cocktails and both were just straight mezcal. I guess I shouldn't have had much hope for any truffle flavor esp cuz it's such a lighter taste compared to Smokey mezcal. Tokyo sunset was pretty good tho! Chill pill was very lavendery (not my palette but good for what it was) TL;DR this place is good for drinks and a lil snack, a lot of the food isn't worth the price but it's fun to chitchat and feel like you're in another place sometimes

We brunched at Bacari to celebrate my sister's birthday and our daughter's acceptance to Vanderbilt University. We had reservations and waited just a few minutes before being seated in the beautiful outdoor space under the large tree. Our server was Ruby, who did an amazing job taking care of us. She explained the small plates Mediterranean style menu and recommended 2-3 plates per person. Our food was nicely paced out. Everything was fresh and delicious. We all agreed that the Lamb Hummus and Feta Filo were the standout dishes. The bread that came with the hummus and smoked salmon was addicting. My sister sampled several drinks and found them all exceptionally good. Service was excellent -- never rushed. It was a nice sunny day, perfectly cool under the shade of the trees. It was a great experience that we look forward to having again. Parking is tough in the area, especially with the Farmer's Market going on across the street. We chose to valet ($10 during brunch), but my sister was lucky (and patient enough) to find street parking a couple blocks away.

I ordered a variety of dishes from the menu and had a mixed experience. The pork belly stood out with its delightful soft and crispy texture, although the excess sauce made it overly salty. The pizza was generously cheesy but lacked the distinctive flavor of a traditional margherita pizza. The ceviche was enjoyable, though a touch more citrus would have elevated it further. The ambiance of the place was lovely, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere, and the service was efficient and friendly. Overall, while there were some flavor nuances to consider, the experience was pleasant and worth a visit.

It's a magical experience going to this restaurant the food is amazing. The drinks are fantastic... and there are trees growing in the outdoor and indoor seating areas - it's my favorite restaurant so far in Silverlake! Love, love, love it

DO NOT GO HERE! This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant in years. I was there for a large party birthday dinner with a set menu and a reservation for 8 pm. We were on time (early ~7:45) and they did not seat us until right after 9pm. they apologized and said they would "take care of us." They did not. No one took drink orders for 15 minutes and then the food (on the set menu) did not come out until almost 45 minutes after we sat down. They didn't even do dessert for the table to make up for it, just one for the birthday girl. An hour wait for a reservation is definitely something the staff should have tried to make up for, yet they didn't care. Then, when the bill came they charged us for soda and coffee which was included in the menu. When we asked to take it off and then if there was anything else they could do considering the huge inconvenience they caused, they gave a discount but did not take off the coffee and soda beforehand so ended up giving a discount that was basically just the stuff that should have been included off.

This place is like a little paradise to us. Fantastic food and drinks, great service and the ambiance is killer. This is the second time we decided to celebrate our anniversary here and our server made it oh so special. An LA gem and this location is their best.

Just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the amazing team at Bacari. Jose and Vince and the rest of the crew really went above and beyond to make us feel like family for my lady's BDay Group Dinner!!! The service was top notch and the food was delicious. Thank you again for the hospitality, we'll be back soon.
