Some of the best fish tacos I've had in LA. Lovely staff, unique menu options. There is serve-yourself salsa station with an impressive array of house made choices. Do yourself a favor and get a crunchy fried fish taco and eat it right when it comes out!! There is limited seating out front, but you can usually snag a table in the shared space between the truck and Pine+Crane.
Simon has some of the tastiest fish tacos I've had in LA. Their al pastor fish taco has great flavor and good texture with a bit of char on top that accompanied by some tasty more acidic fixins, making for a delicious bite. Sadly they were out of the fried crab tacos (seems like a common occurance so get here earlier in day if possible), but the shrimp tacos were awesome as well, flavored with some good slightly sweet sauce. Best fish tacos on the east side. Could eat them once a week. Made to order from a taco truck so sometimes you have to wait a bit. Wish they were there later but great for an early dinner or lunch. My favorite is the recommended shrimp and cheese one and soft shell crab
