Favorite spot for Brunch 🥂 the food is amazing try the Steak frites and their mimosas are superb, also their desserts are exquisite. The atmosphere is chill and the pool with Dtla view is incredible. Their manager Alex Mirzain made the guest experience five stars.
I stayed at the Hotel Per La for 3 nights and came to Bar Clara twice. The first time, I was trying to lounge at the pool…no go. It is super cute, but a very small area with very limited lounge chairs and it was super crowded. One server told me they also sell pool passes to non-hotel guests - if this is true, they really should stop. I hung around at a table for awhile to see if anyone left, but from where the tables are, it’s hard to see the pool area. You would basically...

Ordered the Salmon Crudo (which was 3 small slices of salmon for $20) and the bignetes (6 pieces for $18)
Definitely an overpriced place to eat that I wouldn't spend money at without the applied hotel credits.
Service speed was fine, but there was only a few other people there when I went.
